Pick what might be a reason behind going to a religious sanctuary (whether that be a church, mosque or synagogue or another place of warship). Feel free to comment upon it.

As a side-gig, I work as a wedding photographer in New England states so naturally, I get to be inside of a lot of churches quite a lot throughout the year.
I personally appreciate the architecture and iconography, same can be said about mosques. I'm agnostic but I really like the architecture that comes from different religions. It makes great photographs.

your a wedding photographer? Tell us about it What would you like to know? Its a day where anything can happen really. I've been at weddings where the bride was absolutely insane and wanted everything beyond perfect. The term bridezilla exists for a reason.. believe me. White chicks are prone to flashing the photographers when they get really drunk.. this is the funnest part of the wedding. I rarely photograph Bosnian weddings here because people always want a favor, just because I'm Bosnian. Luckily my partner is American so I got that as cover when I'm saying no, sorry. In general weddings are pretty awesome for me while I'm working because its a day full of good feelings (for the most part) except when families start to argue and shit hits the fan.

People go to church because they are in denial.
^^^and I still wonder why people get married lol....can't people learn off other's mistakes?

^^^and I still wonder why people get married lol....can't people learn off other's mistakes? My parents have a marriage that most people wish they had. By all default, I would want to get married but I really don't.

What I'm saying is it takes more than love to make marriage work, and to learn from other people so we don't make the same mistakes as they have.

The only churches Ive been inside which were still being used and no longer simply historic sites, I have not entered of my own will. Generally it was for a either a wedding, or was dragged there when I was younger by some of my Christian family members. The first time I ever went I was dragged by my care-taker and neighbor, and old Vlach lady.
I have been to a number of churches of historical significance while I was in southern Albania, of which I can probably name all still. Obviously while I am in Italy I visited churches since those are some of the most magnificent structures there.
I have never been in a mosque, but that is because I never found any to be worth going into, the ones in Albania are generally small and shabby. I expect to enter one when I visit Turkey with some friends hopefully this coming summer. Those are probably some worth going into.

How it makes one feel (inner peace)
I love going to church.

I don't go to church, like the inside of it, but I do like waking up early on Sunday, going outside the church, and pointing and laughing at the people going in.

A visit to the mosque 5 times per day makes every Muslim mahala stronger.

A visit to the mosque five times a day makes you a little closer to terrorist array...
If you have enough free time to visit a mosque five times a day, your doing something wrong...
