Kapetan, search for additional info about the origin of lily flower on your flag It came from France because one of the wives of a member of the Serbian royal family was a French princess. The area of France where she was from had lillies so the lillies were brought to the Balkans to make her film more at home. That's what I've read. Also, notice that the lily appears in French flags and heraldry. Most famous the flag of Quebec in Canada: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Flag_of_Quebec.svg

Kapetan, search for additional info about the origin of lily flower on your flag Thanks Serb, teach me more about my national symbol. Lilium carniolicum var. bosniacum is a lily native to Bosnia and Herzegovina. In Bosnian, it is known as zlatni ljiljan (golden lily). A lily pattern on a vessel from the antiquity, 2,000 years ago, excavated at Ilidža near Sarajevo Millennium Ancient Bosnian tomb. Note the Bosnian lily motif on top of the monument. Stephen Tvrtko I (Bosnian,Croatian: Stjepan Tvrtko; Serbian: Stefan Tvrtko, Cyrillic: Стефан) (1338 – March 10 1391), was a ruler of medieval Bosnia. He ruled in 1353–1366 and again in 1367–1377 as Ban and in 1377–1391 as the first Bosnian King. He also took the Serbian crown. Tvrtko was a member of the House of Kotromanić. Tvrtko I was an able ruler and his state included most of Bosnia as well as the neighbouring territories. He transformed the country from an autonomous banate into an independent and prosperous kingdom. After he became the King, he added the title Stephanos (Stefan, the crowned one), and Miroslav or Mircea. And other European states used it.

I find it hilarious that Muslims use the flag of the Christian kingdom of Bosnia and claim it as their own while not claiming the actual religion that inspired the flag in the first place.
I also find it funny how Muslims claim that (Bosnians/)Serbs were Vlachs because we shared the same religion but not apply the same rule to themselves which mean that they are pure blooded Turks.

Because IDIOT, it's the flag of BOSNIA, not ISLAM or MUSLIMNESS. You don't seem to get we are proud of BOSNIA, THE HOMELAND, not any religion. It's an ancient symbol of Bosnia, before any religon today. It doesn't bother us in the least that we, or our kings were Christians of any kind, or pagans or anything else before today. Only you care about dumb s**t like that. It's a BOSNIAN flag, for any Bosniak and BOSNIAN who wants it. And Christianity didn't inspire the lilly symbol LMAO It was used 2 thousand years ago as you can see above, long before "Christian kings in Bosnia". AGAIN, it's a BOSNIAN symbol. This is like saying Judaism inspired the atomic bomb cuz Einstein was a Jew. The MUSLIM flag is with a crescent. Husein's independance flag That itslef proves AGAIN, we only wanted to represent BOSNIA, not OURSEVLES specificly. Cuz if we wanted to represent ISLAM we would've picked the other flag. Notice how most of my 'nationalism' is about my HOMELAND, how in my sig there is no mention of US or ethnic groups, just the LAND. Jedna si Jedina. This is what you can't understand for some reason. Ironicly YOU PEOPLE seem to be defined by your religon more then anyone else. Do you find it funny how Muslim Albanians wave the flag of Skanderbeg who took Christianity again at the end? Does them officialy being Muslims make Albania less their home? Or are you just THAT STUPID?

Notice how stupid he is, everybody? He cant seem to realise that states formed during the Dark Ages and Middle Ages (i.e. states like Bosnia) were formed around religion first and foremost. He also cant see the irony that he has the flag of a Christian kingdom in his signature that his Turkish ancestors tried to destroy.

And to claim that these sources talk of a Bosniak ethniticity is reidicoulous. Given that Bosniak has historically been a term sued to refer to any inhabitant of Bosnia that until recently was for the must part an archaism. You kind of ...just helped MY point there. That they all called themsevles bosniaks or before tha tbosnjani. Nobody was running aroudn IMA SERB IMA SERB LETS JOIN SERBIA! Well maybe a few nutjobs. That Bosnian Serbs is more or less a modern invention cuz of religous ties. You're the ones that switched and started dickrding the country next to you, simply cuz of faith. You don't even match geneticly in the slightest. Serbians are closer to Bulgarians. Woah, loosing the plot there. No logic in that whatsoever… Can’t say I’ve ever heard a Serb from Bosnia ever think that they’re physically different to Serbs in Serbia. And Serbians closer to Bulgarians. (Polje, br. 36). All it’s saying is that Muslims called themselves Bosniaks. Bosniaks=Muslims. Go for your lives. Unlike what you Bosniaks are saying to us Serbs I wouldn't deny the Sandzaklije calling themselves Bosniaks. You'll hardly ever hear us call them Muslim Serbs or Serb Bosniaks. Even though they live in one of teh oldest areas of Serbdom (Serbian identity), even though they look like Serbs, their religion, culture & other identity indicators are not Serbian. They are now Bosniaks. Go for it. But they'll never gain independence from Serbia for a number of reasons. And I've still to hear what is wrong by an ancient population identifying itself by its homeland, culture and everyhting else tied to that geographical spot. THIS IS HOW CIVILIZATIONS ARE CREATED WTF lmao And IF WE ARE just mixed mutts of croats and serbs and illyrians and turks and whatever else...what could possibly make more sense then to simply be a Bosniak and Bosnian. then a Bosniak identity IS that. a mix of all it's previous history. bosnian serbs can stay calling themselves serbs nobody cares, we're not trying to take their s**t, you're trying to take OURS and our history. its like youre all fanatics bent on it. Not really, we just don’t want to be Bosnian’s, we want to be Serbs. It’s much more a case of you Bosniaks trying to force a Bosnian identity on us. We want you to have yours and make of it what you will, but we want ours as well. Just like Serbs have to get over Kosovo (it’s been lost/stolen), Bosniaks have to get over Republika Srpska.

The priests in Bosnia didn't even know the f**kin' formula for baptism, they couldn't read, that tells you how "fanatic" Christianity was there before Islam. Those observations were made by foreign Christian monks who came. Nobody gives a s**t about Jesus or Christianity, stick a crucifix in your ass if you want. We care about our HOMELAND. I could care less about Islam too, if someone is religious good for them. It's thanks to uncompromising blind idiots like you we even have conflicts. Poeple like you make them. SGeneticly Serbians are closer to Bulgarians, then to Bosnians and Herzegovinians is what I was saying. This was shown before here and Serb members were the first to point it out. And yes really, maybe not you, but plenty other including the fool above, seems to have a natural alergic reaction to anyone calling themsevles a Bosniak. I for one have SAID NUMEROUS TIMES, I do not care what Bosnian Serbs are, they are Serbs today and that's it. Nobody will change that. You should read my posts on the previous page, I said this. I'm sure there is some Bosniaks or whoever else who do that to you and won't let you be Serbs, but I am not one of them.

As for Slav pride, personally I'm into it. I know heaps of other Slavs (Polaks, Slovaks, Slovenians & Ukrainians mainly). They're bigger Slavophiles then Serbs & look upon Serbs (& Croats & Bosniaks) positively. In terms of language & culture there are so many similarities between all the Slavic countries. It's fun just looking at language & finding common ground.

^ me too, the slavs here that don't feel like slavs have been influenced by germanic propaganda and feel ashamed of it. The Slavs have accomplished alot which in turn made them the greatest population of europe, whereas the Germanics only became greater by exploring outside of europe. Finally, the slavs are better looking than germanics with all that keltic nordic and phalian looks

However, reading the westie lily press, the ordinary Joe reader gets the impression that Polaks, Ukrainians are in loooove with america. Anyways, it would interesting if there was a study by scientists/linguists/mathematicinas/comp. scientists that would measure the "difference" or "distance" between languages. So Japanese<=>Greek would have lets say a distance of 1,000,000 units whereas Greek<=>Serbian 500 units and Serbian<=>"Bosnian"/"Croatian" 0 units (hey kapetan thats for you!) Serbian<=>Russian 10 units Sewdish<=>Danish 50 units and so on....

On my monitor is appears as just as I posted it. It is in Russian with Bulgarian cyrillic actually, but you obviously see some strange symbols. This in Latin:
Ya izuchal v shkole, no ne dumayu, chto on tak krasivyi.
