I don't like this all-across-the-nation mourning. It simply means that in these times of crisis an ethnic group (the romas) was identified as the imagined enemy just because an isolated case. This looks to much like the Germany of the 1930s... hope EU will be able to stop a disaster

UE is nothing but a bunch of hypocrites.

It lectured us about how to protect and integrate the gypsy blaming their poor status to the rest of population.
It send a zillion of NGOs and commissars , to enforce its create positive discrimination.

After the city council's decision Marian Cozma became a honorable citizen of Veszprém.

His body will be taken to Bucharest today and the Hun press says his burial will be there on Saturday.

There were voices that claimed that would ruin Hungarian-Romanian relations.

But i didnt find anything close to that in mass-media.
And on the main Romanian forums there is a huge uproar against gypsies (and sympathy for how Hungarians overall reacted to this problem), some even express their hope that Magyar Garda will take more action.

If it wasnt this tragedy, it would be almost funny how 2 nations are united in front of a commune enemy.

Afternoon hundreds offered their condolences in Szeged (the main rival of the Veszprém handball team)













and as i heard Romanian fans waited his coffin in the Romanian side of the border.

I have much repsect for Marian's father even after this big tragedy he had the will power to do this long memorials in Veszprém, Szeged then in Romania and he also said nice things about Veszprém and the team.

the Veszprem handball team decided the no. 8 shirt (that was his number in the team) will be reserved for ever to Marian and nobody will use it in the future.

Its clearly seen in the security camera record that Marian Cozma was first stabbed in his back, just like the Croat dude Ivan Pesic was also stabbed in the back. these murderers are nothing but coward subhumans.
These times i start to miss the death penalty.

Althoug it's a known fact that Gipsyes carry knives and even swords and are not afraid to use them, since jail is like a second home for probably like 90% of them, blaming all the Gipsyes for this is wrong.

this is true i agree, the local roma minority government in veszprem also asked the murderers to give themself up.

theres no problem with civilizied romas, only with gypsy subhuman criminals.

And using any weapon is a coward act if u do it against an unarmed person, no matter if its a knife, bat, boxer, gun i think we can agree in that

Roma fear retaliation after attack on athletes

The Roma community in Sarbogard town, W Hungary, is concerned about possible retaliation in the wake of Sunday's stabbing of handball players in Veszprem (W), according to participants of a meeting between local Roma leaders, municipal and police officials on Wednesday.



Sandor Raffael, who is accused mortally wounding Romanian player Marian Cozma, and who was arrested in Austria soon after the stabbing, is a resident of Sarbogard.



Several participants of the forum said the Roma community as a whole should not be blamed for the stabbing, in which two other players also suffered serious injuries.



"Raffael and his accomplices have brought shame upon the Roma," said Peter Lakatos, head of the local Roma authority.


other news, the reward for Sztojka Ivan is doubled so now 2 million HUF, yesterday news said that even the secret services are searching him now and the tax authority also started an inquiry on their business. The Serb victim Sesum is now in better condition, possibly he can join team training in the next week.
Today university students of Veszprém remembered Cozma.

His burial will be tomorrow in Bucharest, there will be live broadcast on the Duna TV.
