It will all depend on the UN's final decision re: Kosovo.
If it is indeed recognised as a 'sovereign republic', RS's independance is full throttle ahead.
Right now it would be damaging to the Serbian cause and would hurt the diplomatic efforts of the Serbian government if we tried to stake claim over Kosovo and have RS seperate at the same time.
It will all be clear in due course. In Dodik we trust.

^ I think it should be like this, each time the US, UK or Germany become more aggressive, then the people of RS should do the same....sometimes just being quiet and submissive doesn't work, l think serbia has a barganing tool here, so why not demonstrate the importance of balkan stability if injustices are being played out in kosovo. It blows my mind that there is 10million serbs that can create fear so much more than the albanians who number approximately 5mil in the balkans.....this is weak.

In worst case scenario EU will proclaim Belgrade to be a democratic republic and the rest of Serbia will become 3 NATO-controlled Zones: German, Italian and Turkish.

Yes. It is in the interests of the SERBIAN nation and as a result, no further justification is needed.

If that were true you'd have no trouble giving me an example where this was the case (apart from kosovo naturally).
Give it time its only early days,
Kosovo has set a precedent, Palestinians say MARK MACKINNON
From Thursday's Globe and Mail
JERUSALEM — If the Kosovars can unilaterally declare themselves an independent state, why can't the Palestinians do the same? With peace talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority ground to an effective halt, it's a question some senior Palestinian officials are pondering.
By David Brian
Kosovo’s independence has sent an encouraging signal to Scotland’s nationalists who believe that of all of Europe’s potentially separatist regions, they are best suited for independence.
These are just a few but as I said its early days.
