EU claims of unity are ridiculous. Look at the EU constitution. They claimed for years how much they were united on that issue. It took them years to write the document and then it all came crashing down when the Dutch and French rejected it in referendums. So much for EU unity.
Please note -- don't trust the statements of bureuacrats.

-"Kosovo issue is stronger now than ever. The EU has just showed unity making Russia look like an obstructive member unworthy of cooperartion."- How? -"Why so many dates? To accomodate the indepedence and every other country which is to recognize Kosovo..."- But as time goes on more and more nations that were "Yes" nations are re-evaluating and changing their votes to a "No" or "Abstain". Let me answer both questions: 1. How? EU has showed unity and overwhelming support to give Kosovo indepedence -- something that was missing before. Now on the list it is, United States, EU and many Islamic States will recognize Kosovo. Thats almost the whole world for you. 2. Au Contraire--- As time goes on, no nations have said NO. I dont know where you get your info. The opposite has been true.

I dont know where you get your info. The opposite has been true. There is one important element you forget, Serbia is not a part of the EU. Kosovo is a part of Serbia. The EU cannot move into Kosovo without Serb approval. Recognition without UN approval is also illegal and the EU kow this. What you see happening now is nothing more than bullying tactics which in the end won't work.

Seriously, the Albanians need to get some balls in this, they have two options : wait for independence, while the west forgets about them
or
Attack serbia head on and take back Kosovo....And then call the west for help when serbia attacks them.
