I don't think Faroes being physical will actually help them (if they are..not sure haven't watched them in awhile) because Serbia score mostly of their set-pieces.

1-0 HT
Nice to get one in there right before the break. We've had plenty of missed chances on goal but the fluid pasing game is great to watch - exactly what was lacking in the last game.
Hopefully this goal demoralises the Faroes enough to open up the floodgates in the 2nd half. Though essentially we need atleast another goal to be safe.

Serbia eye finals after beating Faroe Islands 2-0
Serbia edged closer to next year's World Cup finals in South Africa after goals from Milan Jovanovic and Neven Subotic gave them a 2-0 win over the Faroe Islands in their Group Seven qualifier on Wednesday. The result left Serbia top of the group with 18 points from seven matches, eight more than 2006 finalists France who have two games in hand. Serbia survived several nervy moments and missed a hatful of good chances in a lively first half before Jovanovic broke the deadlock in the 44th minute. The winger swept in a close-range rebound after Faroe goalkeeper Jakup Mikkelsen, who produced a string of good saves throughout the match, had parried his initial shot. Suni Olsen, who missed a sitter early in the game, came close to snatching an equaliser before Subotic sealed Serbia's win shortly after the hour. The centre back scored his first international goal with a diving header from 10 metres after an inswinging cross from the right by Nenad Milijas. Serbia's next game is at home to France on Sept. 9. The winners of Europe's nine qualifying groups win automatic berths in the finals while the eight best runners-up play off for another four places.
