A song for old times sake'...

15' [0 - 1] M. Krasic 18' [0 - 2] M. Jovanovic 24' [0 - 3] I. Obradovic 80' [1 - 3] M. Janko
Fantastic first half, almost a continuation of the Lith game. The second was a bit more retained and offensively we pretty much stopped. We we're still able to hold the ball well, stringing a couple good passes and overall holding onto possession - something we've struggled with over the last few years.
Great to see Jovanovic back in the mix, I think he'll come good for Serbia in the next couple of years (always expected Lazovic to step up)
Krasic all class, another one we missed for the international game.
One thing though, how did Austria manage to beat France FFS ;D

6 games to go for Srbija, with the next one away to Romania in March. If we get a result there, then a 2nd place should be a minimal expectation (although nothing is written in stone...obviously) The only thing bugging me is that the team has been playing great this week, but what sort of momentum will we have in 5 months time... It's too far down the track to make any sort of predictions regarding players health/availibility, team unity, coach's input ...etc. Can only wait and hope... NAPRED SRBIJO!!! NAPRED ORLOVI!!!

I am confident we will come back strong despite the long layoff.
The next game will be played in Romania. We need a tie. If we lose, we don't control our own destiny any longer.

Hopefully Serbia and Romania make it through. Fuck France off. Romania will be tough in march arent some of their players injured now?
