I found this interesting piece I'd like to share. Perhaps Croatian Muslims do exist after all?
The return movements of the Muslim population from the Coast, Lika, Slavonija, Hungary, and other places are well known. For example, after the siege of Vienna (1683-1699), territorial losses of the Ottoman Empire and the annexation of Lika and Krbava by the Austrian Army, mass movements of the Muslim population from those regions took place; the Muslim population headed towards Bihać, Cazin, and Bosanska Krupa where they created an enclave in the vast Serbian region of Bosnian Krajina. More intensified immigrations of the Muslim population were noticed in 1690 when they moved from Hungary and Slavonija to the region around the mountain of Majevica. In the Turkish period, the Muslim population increased in number in Bosnia and Herzegovina due to constant immigrations of their compatriots from the Sanjaks of Smederevo and Novi Pazar, and especially from some regions of Montenegro, Sjenica, and Pester. Immigrations of the Turkish population from Asia Minor also had impact upon the growth of the Muslim population in Bosnia and Herzegovina from the 15th to 19th century.

That's only if you assume there was a Croatian national consciousness among the people in Lika and Slavonija, which I personally highly doubt. There were even more Muslims from Serbia who ended up settling in Bosnia.

Saying they did exist is right, and no one on earth denies that. Saying they exist today is anachronistic and non-sense (obviously besides some rare cases or muslims who do feel Croats). As is calling Bosniaks Croats in BiH.

they created an enclave in the vast Serbian region of Bosnian Krajina. There where no Serbs in Bosnia back then.

Well I'm just making a point. Now they are soley reffered to as Bosnjaci which is fine as they settled in Bosna. But history paints a different tune. They may not exist today, but blood is thicker than water. And blood is our genetic makeup which is what we are. So what are we? I think we are the same.

They may not exist today, but blood is thicker than water. And blood is our genetic makeup which is what we are. So what are we? I think we are the same. You are right, Catholics from Bosnia are ethnic Bosniaks, you even have your grandmothers name to prove it.

That sounds much like Nazi talks. Really. A person is what he wants to be. To you it's funny we are Bosniaks as to me it's funny you think of yourself as a Hrvatica, and generally Hrvati in Bosnia

hahahahaha...you are too funny. My baka is not a Bosnjak. She is from Lika and Slavonija. However my grandfather's family came from Bosna 300 years ago, and they too were not Bosnjaks. We are Croats, don't you get it?

I agree, you can be what you want to be; but how can you ignore the truth of our history. To me that's interesting. Can't deny the truth can u ?
Not I don't think it's funny. I think it's ABSURD that you are denying the history. How can you think it's funny that I'm a Hrvatica?

You cant be an ethnic Croat if you are from Bosnia, you should return to your Bosniak roots. I agree, you can be what you want to be; but how can you ignore the truth of our history. To me that's interesting. Can't deny the truth can u ? You obviously can because you keep on insisting that people who moved from Bosnia and named their families Bosnjak where not Bosnjaks

Illyria, don't waste your time trying to prove anything. Croats are a real nation with a traceable lineage. Whatever pseudo-ethnicity tito and fazla are a part of, it is filled with historical contradictions that they spend their lives trying to rectify (i.e. Queen Katarina has a nephew called Mustafa... and he is her only true descendent LOL).

Tebi je to smiješno, ja sam ti iznio šta je meni smiješno. No meni život ne prolazi govoreći drugima šta su i ubjeđivajuči ih da su to...prosto boli me kurac, kako bi rekao na Engleskom, živi i pusti da žive.

I didn't start this thread to say modern day Bosnians or Serbs are Croats...I'm just making a historical point in reference to the contradictions of modern Bosnian history.
