There definetly was Croatian muslims. Most migrated to Bosnia as other Bulgarian, Hungarian, and tons of other kinds of muslims did during Ottoman times when wars were raging. Bosnia had somewhat of a special status. They pretty much got absorbed into the native population. Just like Christians who moved there.
That's why speaking about "blood" of each group in Bosnia is hillarious. Since anyone who moved there would've been absorbed according to his faith. Like the Vlachs.
Except Catholic Bosnians didnt call themselves Croats then. Only actual ethnic Croats with ties to Croatia did. Those identites as a whole, as a Croat nation within Bosnia, simply didn't exist. I know people wish they did and come up with tiny little examples like croat sounding names but that's ridicuolous lol.
Now someone could say but those slavs who were Bosnians originaly at the very beginning might've come from the original croat tribe. If that is true, wouldn't change a thing since that was just a tribal label, and at that point of very first arrival, those people were no different then any other slavs who came besides having a different name.
the idea of a big croat national conciousness back then in bosnia...is simply a dream...you had catholics...orrthodox..krstjani...and then muslims.

Illyria, don't waste your time trying to prove anything. Croats are a real nation with a traceable lineage. Whatever pseudo-ethnicity tito and fazla are a part of, it is filled with historical contradictions that they spend their lives trying to rectify (i.e. Queen Katarina has a nephew called Mustafa... and he is her only true descendent LOL). Actually there really is no real nation , they're made up. This thing called 'national consciousness' has no relationship to science whatsoever. Nations are concepts , they don't exist in reality nor do they define anything about the matter or energy ( or the behavior of matter and energy) in reality. Individual people exist and nothing in their anatomy points to a national consciousness thus we can say these terms are made up and when you attach morality to them then they are whim based and potentially dangerous.

Nothing here defines nationality or national ethnicity.

Of course , I don't expect people here from the Balkans to listen to reason as much as faith-based , whim-based , raw emotion.
