I actually heard that the Bogomils were a Bosnian myth. There did exist a Bosnian Church but it was not related to the Bogomil movement in Bulgaria.

^ They definitely existed... separately from the Bosnian Church, that's true.
What is a Bosnian Myth is that they were the early converts to Islam... a myth that cannot be verified by any fact

What is a Bosnian Myth is that they were the early converts to Islam... a myth that cannot be verified by any fact If they did exist in Bosnia, they must have been extremely sparse and insignificant since there are no reliable archives documenting their existence or influence. I find that some historians incorrectly associate Bosnian Church records and customs with that of the Bogomils. From what I understand, and there are excellent books on this, The Ottoman Centuries - Lord Kinross and Ottoman Bosnia - A History in Peril - Koller (the latter being hostile toward Christian compared to Muslim culture , but still good sources for the relevant issue here) that only a small portion of the Bosnian population voluntarily converted to Islam in the first century of Ottoman rule and that was mainly the old aristocracy. Islamization of Bosnia was a gradual process.

What is your problem Sarajvosa?
Radovic: Many converted up until 1783 with the fall of the Ottomans. I know a Bosnian muslim who's greatgrandfather was Croatian Catholic, probably moved there from another area, Italy or Spain. The brother of this greatgrandfather converted to Islam, the other didn't stayed as is, hence down the line, in the same family linage we have one following Catholisism and the other Islam. One Croatian family, one Bosnian, all on the paternal side.

Birth-rates have nothing to do with religion, moreso to do with the economic status/living standards of the people
