Id understand that Croatia is looking for Serbian war crimes suspects (though a list of 20 000 is over done) if they were also taking the same measures in charging their own Croat ones.

^ It's true that the people should be tried equally, as the constitution states it so, but there will always be a bias.

As a half-breed I have the benefit of looking at this from both perspectives. I stated before my belief that the Krajina uprising was a mistake, but also that the Croatian gov handled the aftermath in 95 in a crude fashion. On the bright side, the war allowed me to see the world, as involuntary it may have been at first shit I gotta look at it from the bright side, what happened happened. Spending time in refugee centers in Germany certainly gave me a new perspective on life. A lot of wounds left to heal back home, but I think it will all turn out ok in the end, for a while anyhow after all Croats and Serbs managed to get along after WWII just fine, I happen to be a end result of that brotherhood and unity ;D My Croat mama could not resist that dashing Serb JNA officer...

A kako ja gledam Slovenija i Hrvatska su imali naj manji razlog da se odcjeplje.. Niko vas nije dirao a i imali ste naj bolji standard u EX/YU, Za kosovo razumijem kolko tolko, jel su oni bili bas bijeda.... Nemoj mi samo reci da vam je bilo lose i da ste zivjeli u siromastvu!! A opet kad gledas nije narod toliko kriv kolko su politicari...

Because life was so grand! jok. Just mention a couple of things that was bad in Croatia? How come me and my family had it good in Bosnia, same with our Muslim and Croat neighbourgs?? I just cant understand what was so bad ! Before the war started? One thing i noticed is that Croats in Croatia became more nationalistic, infact more than any other republic in EX/YU, ja samo mogu vidjeti da vas je neko podpalio i to dobro sa zapada..

I mean come on...
Economics
The economy developed into a type of socialism called radničko samoupravljanje (workers' self-management), in which workers partially shared profit in state-run enterprises. This type of socialism was first introduced in Croatia, then in other parts of Yugoslavia. Croatia gave one of world's biggest, if not the world's biggest name in the field of workers' self-management in economic theory, Branko Horvat. This kind of market socialism created significantly better economic conditions than in the Eastern Bloc countries. Croatia went through intensive industrialization in the 1960s and 1970s with industrial output increasing several-fold, and with Zagreb surpassing the Yugoslav federal capital Belgrade in the amount of industry in the city (even though Belgrade is much larger than Zagreb).
Factories and other organizations were often named after Partisans who were declared People's Heroes. Before WWII Croatia's industry was not significant, with the vast majority of the people employed in agriculture. By 1991 the country was completely transformed into a modern industrialized state. At the same time, the Croatian Adriatic coast began to take shape as an internationally popular tourist destination, all coastal republics (but mostly SR Croatia) profited greatly from this, as tourist numbers reached levels still unsurpassed by modern Croatia. The government brought unprecedented economic and industrial growth, high levels of social security and a very low crime rate. The country completely recovered from WW2 and achieved a very high GDP and economic growth rate, significantly higher than the present-day Republic.

Stop talking shit. Not everyones situation was the same. Just because you can't handle the truth it doesn't mean that other's didn't suffer for your "good life". For one, half of my family were from Bosna, but left.
Clearly you were not present, and would not know. In the years from 1945-1975 how many people left the region? Can you answer that for me and perhaps tell me why they left. Maybe then you can understand why, people just wanted a better opportunity.
