Epirus Neutral simply means that they did not ally themselves with either side.

THE TITLE IS CLASSICAL GREECE!!!
ILLYRIA IS LOCATED AT THE NORTH OF EPIRUS!!!
THREE COLORS IN THE GREEK WORLD.RED,YELLOW AND GREEN...
GREY COLOR FOR FOREIGN LAND...
GREEN COLOR SPREADS ALSO TO PARTS OF CENTRAL GREECE AND PELOPONISUS,IT'S NOT ONLY FOR EPIRUS...
The green color indicates the greeks who did not participate to the peloponesian war by the way...

But how is that possible to be forgotten the classical Greek tribes of South Italy???!!!!! Where are they? So, Classical Greece excludes them? lol...and Greeks are located in South Epirus!!! No, three colors on THAT map Gray color for "Greek's enemy"!!! Teuta is willing to accept what you guys are saying here....she just can't....without stronger arguments!!! The green color indicates who refused to participate in the war between: Greeks and allies against Greeks and allies as to say: is not our business....it's Greeks' business...let them deal with it...

another statement of h.kissinger was if you want to win against the greece you must fought greek culture ,language and greek history !!. is it not thrue some greek neighbours today following h. kissinger idiological :albanians, fyromanians , bulgarians ,turks , What? An example for this? Actually Bulgarians are respectful of the Greek history. Maybe you mean the Southwest Bulgarians? But if so, u wouldnt say fyromans. By the way fyromans steal and fight our history too, so we are on one side!

Or refused to ally with Greeks!!! You are really making a huge assumption there Teuta. You must remember that not all Greeks sided with either side, even the Greeks who can not have their ethnicity questioned.

Or refused to ally with Greeks!!! You are really making a huge assumption there Teuta. You must remember that not all Greeks sided with either side, even the Greeks who can not have their ethnicity questioned. You are correct, and that is why the majority of scholars question the notion that all those peoples of ancient balkans were greek or greek speaking... Even your own hero Themistocles was sent off to Persia...where he died, after beating the Persian fleet. It's no wonder you guys have such credibility problems with the int'l community. A Bit About Themistocles: Themistocles was the Athenian in charge of the Athenian naval fleet that in name was under the Spartan Eurybiades. Themistocles had persuaded the Greeks to use the bounty from a newly discovered vein of silver at its mines at Laurium to build a naval fleet of 200 triremes. When some of the Greek leaders wanted to leave Artemisium before the battle with the Persians, Themistocles bribed and bullied them into staying. Some years later the heavy-handed Themistocles was ostracized by his fellow Athenians. The Corpse of Leonidas: After Leonidas died, there is a story that the Greeks tried to retrieve the corpse by means of a gesture worthy of the Myrmidons trying to rescue Patroclus in the Iliad XVII. It failed. The Thebans surrendered; the Spartans and Thespians retreated and were shot by Persian archers. The body of Leonidas may have been crucified or beheaded on Xerxes' orders. It was retrieved about 40 years later. Aftermath: The Persians, whose naval fleet had already suffered seriously from storm damage, then (or simultaneously) attacked the Greek fleet at Artemisium, with both sides suffering heavy losses. According to the Greek historian Peter Green, the Spartan Demaratus (on Xerxes' staff) recommended splitting the navy and sending part to Sparta, but the Persian navy had been too heavily damaged to do so -- fortunately for the Greeks. In September of 480, aided by northern Greeks, the Persians marched on Athens and burned it to the ground, but it had been evacuated. ancienthistory.about.com/cs/weaponswar/p/blpwtherm.htm

In the following year..and this is from your link.... but you only pick out stuff you like to show here....this is what prevailed....
Athenian fleet at Salamis in 479 B.C., feigned retreat, and lured the much heaver navy of the Persians into the narrow strait at Salamis, where their lighter vessels could be rammed by the heavier Greek ships. The Persians were beaten in the naval battle and retreated.
This was a turning point in the Persian War and showed the naval supremacy of Athens.
