Ottoman Sultans never married with Turkish women. Their last viziers were Turkish. They never spoke Turkish. They never called themselves Turkish either. The main war encouragement of Ottomans were backed by Janissaries, however, a Turk was not allowed to get to in their group.
Then, why Ottomans wanted to have a connection with Oguz ties? This direction of Ottomans’ was a total political turn, and it was not fully loved to do. In the 15th century, Anatolian Turkish tribes were still strong and Ottomans wanted to have the control of the whole Anatolia, thus they included those parts to their empire as well.
In fact, all the bad mouth about Turks started with Seljuks! For example, the author “Aksaraylı Kerimeddin Mahmud: writes this:
"Hunhar Türkler, köpek ve kurt gibidirler,
ellerine fırsat geçerse yağmayı
ganimet bilirler, fakat düşman kuvvetleri gelirse kaçarlar."
“Evil Turks are like dogs and wolfs,
If they find a chance, they recognize help and donation as treasure,
But if they see an enemy army, they escape”.Let’s look at the Ottoman Empire Sultans and their ROOTS: try to find ONE Turk in here

“XVI. Yüz yıldan itibaren Osmanlı vakayinameleri Türkleri aşağılayıcı sıfatlarla doludur.Kaba Türk,cahil Türk,idraksız Türk vb. nitelemeler, Osmanlı kroniklerinde bol bol rastlanan nitelemelerdir”.
