Well what we want is to split Macoslavia, so we want name negotiations so FYROM doesnt get in NATO until it splits, its simple as that!in the last 60 -70 years the slavs have settled too much in our areas
ILIR......if seperations occurs me and you might have to be prepared to have a Bulgarian zip code.....
so a NO seperation from me ....
a partition leaves a good handful of Albanians out ...it works out great for western Macedonia ...but not the rest of the Albanians
the way they have transplanted slavs in the last century leaves us in a touchy situation in my and other areas of Macedonia....
ILIR just look at Manastir ...your a bit younger ..but in 1970 I remember a very large Albanian population there ....Today very lilttle left .....even the villages around it ...20 years later I saw the city that was 50% larger and 80% more slavs ....where the heck they come from ...?
the goverment made it easy for slavs to build new homes..programs that were only for them ...
in just 20 years the slavs changed the face of the landcsape in Manastiri ...
In 20 years possibly there wont be no Albanians in Manastiri ...and strange bcs Manastiri was where the ALbanian Alphabet was chosen for all the Albanians of the world ....
I was actually born in Monastir and my dad was telling me the same thing, used to be Albanian majority, but now forget about it.
Slavs have tried almost everything to get rid of us. From the low interest rates "Macedonian" citizens were giving to the visas Albanians were given just to leave the country. Or my favorite one, adding a "ski" to our last name. My mom went to highschool freshmen year and found out her last is spahiuski. or how they bastardize our name and add a "j" after the L. Valjdet, Vljore and so forth.
As for the division, won't ever happpen without a war. You expect Greeks, Bulgarians and Albanians to comprimise on a mutual split, not to mention the Serbs would want some action too. And like you said, cities are too mixed. In Kercove for example they say it's about 50/50, but most of the slavs live in the city, so that would be a tough situation.
Besides Bulgaria and Greece are in the european union and their big brothers won't allow any part of splitting of a nation.
