I'd say Albanians from Albania without blinking, but I'm interested in knowing the opinions of others.
The reason I don't like Kosovarës is because I've formed a poor opinion of them. They act like buffons. They are uncultivated. They are rude, violent and look funny.

Anittas
All Albanians you've met have been from Kosova ... because essentially all of the Albanians in Sweden are from there ... a small minority from Macedonia ... and an even smaller percentage from Albania. So I don't understand how you came to that conclusion.
Personally, I like all my countrymen alike ... but when it comes to speech, the Albanian language as spoken in Albania, particularly the south, is much more beautiful, especially when spoken by women.

Donnie, are you saying that your co-patriots from all regions share the same attitude in life? Are there no significant differences? Yeah, most Albanians I've met are Kosovarës or from Macedonia, so I figured that those from Albania proper can only be better. In fact, apart from a guy or two, the Albanians I've met were nice, but I still can't help to think that Kosovarës are peasants! This forum proves that assertion.

Kosovars have always looked at Albania as their big brother even during Yugoslavia times and also today. Albanians from Albania at least those from the south and central are more diplomatic. Some say we are more wild than them.
We have our regional disagreements/differences with them but have no dillusions that we will officially support them. Our opinion of Serbs is pretty low aswell especially with what they have done on Balkans.

Of course there are regional differences. Heck, there are regional differences within Kosova itself. But to say that I like some segment of the population more than the other, nah ... each region complete the other.

Most of my teenage years were spent with friends which were a mix of 2 Tosks and 2 Kosovars. Now all of us individually have gone our own way but still i can be a pretty good judge of some differences.
It ended up that we pursued to go to university; they mostly chose to work early in life. When a debate got heated up, they were more laidback and looked to us for advice.
Commonalities = hotbloodedness, hard headed, and none of us really cared about religion.

i think its more regional differences rather than anything substantial however we do differ, this is due to the fact that for over 50 years we were living separate lives,
The reason I don't like Kosovarës is because I've formed a poor opinion of them. They act like buffons. They are uncultivated. They are rude, violent and look funny
what kind of a statement is that to make? i don't like you because i have concocted this poor opinion of you based on perceptions i have of you,
romanians have a really low reputation where i live but i know the real romanian people, the ones that no one ever hears about, the ones that quietly work and raise their families but somehow that small percentage of scum gives the main bulk a bad rep, but what you see is a herd of poorly educated, malnourished beggars that yell and act uncivilised and everyone forms a bad opinion of you, but i tend to hold back before making assumptions that impact a entire country....
the reason why albs seem a little more 'refined' shall we way, is because Kosovars were oppressed for many decades, they were prevented from developing their culture, language and evolving as people, cut off from Albania which only deepened the isolation thus tribe-like mentality was prolonged as education was denied or many refused it as that would mean an education according to what the Serbs would see fit, you can see already that the mentality is changing and Kosova is coming along, the two countries are virtually inseparable now, as a matter of fact when it comes culture, education, television and social life you're essentially talking about an integrated network of social aspects shared by both sides of the fence, the borders are merely a formality,

If I were to ask you whether you like New Yorkers more than Texans, I assume most of you would choose the former. Why is it so hard in this case? Kosovarës are the equivalent of American rednecks. Why like them at all!

its not the same thing, they don't have the same ethnic bond, they do not share a deeply rooted history, america is a flimsy union comprised of a multitude of races, you are singling out individuals that may have rubbed you the wrong way and you are pigeonholing a whole country, if you went to Pristina you'd totally change opinion, you'd actually be baffled how progressive that place is.

I love how a Bulgarian (you are Bulgarian, correct?) as yourself distinguishes Kosovars and Albanians. From my experience, I can't tell a difference of attitudes or behaviors for the most part. Well Kosovars tend to be more religious since they did not go through the anti-religious period of Xhaxi Enver, but other then that, there aren't any glaring differences between the two.
Of course you have some chauvenistic Albanians from all over that have a mentality of being better then the other, but on a larger scale, most Albanians don't acknowledge this difference.
But I do appreciate you playing this game though. Like the local Indian that works at 7-11 says:
"Thank You Come Again."

Hahaha, you have just unintentionally insulted Anittas in the worst manner. Only calling him a Wallachian might have been more insulting ... you see, Anittas is a Romanian, from Moldavia, and he hates two types of people above all; Bulgarians and Romanians from Wallachia (Bucharest in particular).

I don't think Albanians from Albania are more refined then Albo Kosovars (with the obvious exception of Korca which is the most refined Albanian city + regions) Kosovo was under Yugoslavia so they had more freedom under Tito then Albanians in Albania had under Enver Hoxha...so Kosovars are probably more "worldly" I guess (or richer as some in Albania would say Lol gotta love interethnic stereotypes) Romanians arent thought of too highly either. It's pathetic wehn peopel who have negative images in the world try to make themselfes feel better by trying to maek others feel worse if someones chill it doesnt matter wehre theyre from, it always depends on the person not their background, wehn u get into politics things change but not taht much wehn ur talking about Albanians who still have common goals despite regional differences.

It wasn't under Serbian life style, more like under Serbian oppression where you couldn't have your own schools, media, etc.
But we still remained Albanian though, in our own style and struggle of course, with private schools, etc.
