Also this sub-forum should be divided: North Epirus should go to Albanian Forum and South Epirus should go to Greek one...why do I feel like I am drawing borders in Balkans?

I fully believe teuta that its best as it is. Why should there be a North Epirus and a South Eprius? Perhaps for the same reason Kosovo/Metohija forum went to Serbia subforum...even that one, I would modify to North Mitrovica/Kosovo forum... ;D...really, do I have to explain why?

;D ;D ;D why? I, as a north Epiriot Albanian from my father side, want to be moderator in Epirus forum and from my Grandmother side in Kosovo forum, actually, Kosovo/Metohija to be more precise too... ;D ;D ;D...but since I am not South Epiriot but North Epiriot Albanian, I think to divide Epirus in two sub-forums as well (same as our honored Adamin divided Kosovo in two sub-forums)...what's wrong with that? ;D

PS: now, let's see what Adamin's reactionn will be: he will put Kosovo subforum under Serbia altogether...

I think this forum represents only the Greek part of historical Epirus since the northern part of it isnt called Epirus by the Albanians.

I will Leandros, I will...I will prepare a coffee for you and tea for Kastorianos; while you drink it, I will ask Kastorianos how about creating some sub-boards about historical Crete, historical Athens, historical Peloponnese, historical Sparta...since they are called this way! Enjoy the coffee and the tea!

Kastor is right. Now, officially, Epirus exists up to the border with Albania. After that, areas like Saranda to Himara, though part of historical Epirus, no longer constitute as thus; they are simply 'southern Albania' and the term 'Northern Epirus' will continue to die-out until its inevitable extinction. Epirus, officially now, is a part of Greece. Otherwise, if 'Northern Epirus' was included, then it should be a regional forum, rather than a Greek subforum.
But ofcouse, I bet Aadmin's Greco leaning would keep it in the Greek forum.

We have already a 1st level Kosovo forum, and a kosovo subforum of the Albania forum, because some albanians live in this Serbian region, as recognized by UN. In the same analogy, some Greeks live in a region which currently belongs politically to Albania as recognized by the UN. This analogy is perfectly reflected on this subforum. According to the Protocol of Corfu: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Protocol_of_CorfuN.Epiros should have full autonomy.

You guys should know that Greece essentially gave up that treaty just recently with the delineation of territorial waters between it and Albania. In the treaty Greece recognized Albanian land as it is (un-autonomous). Oh and there is a difference between southern Albania and Kosova according to the UN: one is recognized as a zone differentiated from the rest of the country while the other is considered to be a completely undifferentiated piece of land from the rest... try and guess which one is which.

North Epirus is included in this forum. How fair game you have here, South Albania is also included here, and you are deciding what languages can be spoken in this forum? Make a south epir and north epir subforums under the forums where they belong!.

"North Epirus live more Albanians than Greeks and in South Epirus live more Greeks than Albanians."
hard to believe the 1st, unless i see it with my own eyes, as far as the 2nd is concerned, in S. Epiros there are no albanians at all, except of course the illegal immigrants.

"North Epirus live more Albanians than Greeks and in South Epirus live more Greeks than Albanians." hard to believe the 1st, unless i see it with my own eyes, as far as the 2nd is concerned, in S. Epiros there are no albanians at all, except of course the illegal immigrants. Once, I had the same answer from a Greek guy. He told me: I don't believe it! I will go there and see it with my own eyes! He was so determined that we thought he went already. After two months, we asked him: did you see? He said: I didn't go therefore I don't believe it! As per illegal Albanians...yes, there are Legal and illegal Albanians. Epiriot Greeks were immigrant themselves once upon a time! Whoever lives in a region has the right of schooling and respect when it comes to human rights no matter whether recent immigrants or earlier ones. Therefore, Greeks should grant Albanians in Greece some more rights first...like elementary Albanian school or secondary level of schooling for one million Albanians in Greece and then ask for University for one thousand Greeks in Albania or two villages who anyway are not gonna go there...won't qualify...you haven't seen them what poor peasants they are! Especially in Himara and Narta. So...go and see for yourself.
