It almost impossible to believe taht ancient Greeks were not influencd by any of their neighbors/invadors/teh invaded etc. Greeks would argue that they have proof because Greek was written language not others ones but in Scottland and Ireland doesent everyone speak English...if they have famous Irish philospher or w/e will he be known as English? These are just theoris i came up in history class so relax i'm not going to claiem everything Albanian.

Assyrian was a written language aswell. Wasnt the Assyrian alphabet the first one? (thats what Assyrians tell me anyway) I live in an area where heaps of Assyrians live, if your talking about language then no they dont have a similar language.

Influence? Not that much, Assyrians(or Neo-Assyrians) used Greek mercenaries in the army at various times but thats about it. If any influence did come it was probably through trade. It was once thought that one of the local Greek goddess, Aphrodite, was a borrowing of an Assyrian goddess, but that's since been disproved.

^^You compeletely missed the point and trade has everything to do with "borrowing" ideas from other cultures...

if you mean phonecians when you say assyrians or maybe you ment sumerian but phonecians are a sumerian people and then from phonecians came the carthageneans (modern day tunisia) who almost brought down rome , then there is a thing greeks burrowed i think it is some letters in the alphabet i dont know more how about greeks and phonecians influenced eachother, but there has to be more because both greeks and phonecians where a sea trading people around the mediterrenean so they had contact.

Some people can't read...I obviously meant Assyrians. But moving away from them, I also mentioned "neighbors" who didn't have a written language the way Irish and Scottish don't today for the most part...so how much were ancient Greeks influenced by them (NOT THE IRISH OR SCOTTISH OBVIOUSLY)

According to an italian philologist Giovanni Semerano (who rejected the Indoeuropean theory also known as indogermanic), all languages come from a common Akkadic and Sumerian matrix. "This allows the author to reinterpret radically the entire environment of Archaic and Classic Greece, no longer regarded as a miraculous island of rationality, but as a part of a unique community including Mesopotamia, Anatolia and Egypt " You can find other infos here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giovanni_Semerano

As I said to you piccolo lokum (lukan) Albanian is God's spiking Language. You better learn Albanian to know God first than after that find out meaning of Luka and everything else great on the Earth. During ancient time I etrurian Mr. Telephus King of Mysia today Alb-Illyria told vandals (italians) which came from south africa that because too much rhymes (winds) they named that place Rome. Rhyme=Rome (Winds) Rome=Romans Tell your professor Giovanni (Jovanit) that his name is not italian or greek but is Albanian.
