Majority of the ones from Albania were not refugees...the ones who escaped when Communism ended left for Greece and Italy, the rest escaped another regime, the Berisha Dictatorship, which has done more damage in 20 yrs then Communism did in 50 anyway thats off topic but everyone from Albania are immigrants like any other immigrants that have to go through a long process to get to the US because its not like Greece or Italy where you can borderhop or get on a speedboat.
Kosovars are Albanians too Kanaris anyway thank you for that it, its a compliment really, it gets annoying after a while if you tell a Greek you're Orthodox and from Korca and they try to convince you that you're either Greek or you have so much in common. More Greeks should have your opinion, too bad about 80 percent are the opposite Lol

My father was invited here in 1955.....That is why I can stand up with my head high ... and call YOU a refugee. Most if not all of Albanians are political refugees. They are always running away from something. My grandfather was granted a visa in the 70’s to come to America and worked for about 10-15 years while saving up some money and sending the rest back home. Well today he owns a huge restaurant that caters for Weddings in Macedonia and he makes more money in 3 months during the summer, then my whole family’s household income combined in a year (this include’s my father, mother and my salary and we’re pretty well off in the states.) Albanians, like most immigrants, run for the money. Nothing new…….
