Heh...you always find material related to shepherds and sheeps. As for the video, I better not comment.

LOL.
Irini Qirjako (Kyriakos) is actually a minoritare (member of the Greek minority). I might be wrong, but I am pretty confident of this. She's quite a singer though and not of the Gage type.

I notice that both Albanians and Vlachs/Romanians say "moj, măi" for "hey, you". "Mori, mări" is also shared, but some southern Slavs, and maybe the Greeks, also have it. These words could be of the pre-Roman substratum.
What does "sorke" mean?

Irini is Albanian, just of probable Greek origin(hence her obesity).

What's Albanian...her name or her.... ? Irini means peace... in Greek...
IF you call a Greek woman 'mori' it is insulting.

The argument is over her last name, not first... Irene is a common name, I know an Asian(Korean) with it.
She sings Albanian music, in Albanian and defines herself as an Albanian. In my eyes, as to the general public, she is Albanian. These arguments, those over names, are stupid. Are all the Greeks with the last name Alvanos Albanian? What about those with Gkikas, Skiptaros etc.?

I merely pointed out that her first name is Greek.... now who the hell cares if some Korean or south American pygmy names herself Irene too.... it's still a Greek name....

Yeah. I do not believe it is of Slav source. For instance, the Serbs who use it are those of Kosova, meaning those who've lived in close contact with Albanians (and Vlachs). In Albania, the term "ore" is also used -- I think it may be just a short version of "more/mor".
All I can think of is that this is some version of the word "sorrë" meaning crow.
