I thought his mother was a Bulgarian. Her name was Voisava Tripalda, the Tripalda coming from the famous Thracian tribe "Triballi" which is mentioned by ancient Greek historians.

Georgios kastriotis was a Christian orthodox, a Greek Epirotian prince. His mum was a Serbian princess. Know any Albanian's with names like Georgios Kastriotis? Few in Greece still use that name today.
So if that is true shame on you Greeks for not having a statue of it in th e middle of Athens.
Do not fight internet wars about Scanderbeg, petition your government to build one gigantic statue of your hero, or name a street, or a village or a school or port or an island or a park. Why not since he is internationally known and your hero. ;D
