It is about time to open Albanian schools in Greece too. If there is one teacher for 1-2 Greek students in 16 Public Schools in Albania( that are about to be open according to this secret accord, and the cost is very expensive and is covered 99% from Albanian Government), then how many teachers for Albanian students should in Greece be? (assuming Greece will do the same)!

Greece will never do the same, not even in our wild dreams, but I don't get it, how can these people can make secret agreements about opening greek schools in Albania? When they will be a fact, what they will tell people, they were there but you didn't see them?

lol...yes, they were there but people didn't see them...like many Greek things in Albania. Anyway, this is something that is never going to be implemented I guess, because one teacher for one students means two things: 1. Either those students are very smart or very stupid 2. All, all, there will be what...(assuming there are 4 subjects to be taught) 64 Greek students in all Albania? I don't think they are going to decide it without voting it in Parliament (or I want to believe so) and it is in there they are going to lose! So, I think it is just a bombastic news for the paper to sell...

Is this about Northern Epirus ? If so, not hard since you'll be just re-opening the ones that were closed.

It is about South Albania. Shouldn't Albanians be looking forward instead of backward?

Shouldn't Albanians be looking forward instead of backward? That's your choice, if you do want to move forward then RESPECT international laws and treaties such as Protocol of Corfu of 1914 being one.

Does 1914 seem as the future to you, Arxileas? We must respect the EU standards instead...so should you...

Natives of their lands and illigal imigrants are two different things. Also the Greeks were once a thriving community of Northern Epirus, who's rights have been abused by the Albanian state.

I am talking about legal immigrants...by the way...weren't Greeks "illegal" when they arrived in Balkans from Asia Minor? Further more, are Arvanits "illegal"? Is there any Arvanitica school in Greece?

We have mentioned all the time here that you wish that Hoxha was alive, becuase he loved you guys for some reason...anyway, if we're talking about who's corrupting people of the truth, you greeks deserve the gold medal...you really do. How much money you have spend and still will spend to make albanians greeks like you did with himariots?

From what I am gathering, the article that Arxileas is presenting, is a linguistic study that reflects to the differences between regions and the Greek language and how it is spoken...many scholars do such studies for Albanian language as well and the same words can be said for Arvanits and their language as an old Albanian....

Yes, it is true we are hated now...and this exactly the "golden medal" AlbQ spoke about. The damage is already done, but do not think that Greeks are so very welcome in Albania...and AlbQ is right: you must come more often Arxileas. (no sarcasm involved...truly)

Greek schools in the periphery of Albania in villages that are half to 3/4 empty. Let them have their schools while the communities are still extant. God knows in a decade or two they wont be anyway.
LOL!!!! Thats just fu*king hilarious... Hahaha!!!!! Why does Albania pay for this? Its ridiculous. Let Greece do it...

We are talking here about two totally different groups. The Greeks are a native people to this region, the albanians are just immigrants, guest workers, they are no minority. That doesnt mean they have no right to have own schools in Greece, but minorities are more legitimated.
