The fact that Italy didnt win a single war(or very few if it had any) during World War II, shows how a very bad ally it was to Germany.
I think Germany would've won the war if they had another equivalent European power as an ally, if they werent by themselves against the Allied Forces.
Also the Nazi-Soviet Pact agreement shouldn't have been broken and German empire would still be existing today. Along with Ethnic Albania...
Discuss..

The Italians made many bad decisions during the war. One stupid decision was their attempt to conquer Greece. During this campaign the Greeks single handed defeated the Legions of Mousoulini in just under two months. The Italians lacked a warrior ethos during the second world war, the Italians themselves have said this.

The Italians crucified Jesus... aligned up with Hitler and maintain a criminal network across most big cities around the world...yet it's cool to be Italian and everyone thinks the Italian mafia is cool.. when one mentions the Albanian or Russian mafia they cringe... Why?

Your best ally was always Turkey in particular & the Islamic World in general & you betrayed them in the 20th century when nationalism became more convenient. my advice to you guys is to rekindle an old flame & discard the West, which is more like Italy than the Islamic world in terms of reliability. stay on the current path & you will slowly lose everything. you need more than pure self-interest to ensure a reliable comitment from an ally, culture & religion go a long way.

F.uck clothes & flashy cars & sluts, those distractions make a society weak & are boring after 5 to 10 years of indulgence. trust me, i know from experience. common religion, culture & tradition ensure that every person has a large support structure that is larger than life, rendering materialistic substitutes redundant.

I judge a nation not on its Pizza's it make but on its resistance to survive.
point being is: italy was the worst strategic ally for Germany. Hitler gave orders to invade northern Africa & Egypt. Italians failed. German troops come to help. Hitler gave order to invade Greece. Italians failed. German airborne troops come to help. so they let them down on every occasion. the rate of casualties something like 100,000 italians captured or killed vs 2000 allied. talk about unproportional....
Skanderbeg was right when he said: "You are a bunch of wet men so how you dare talk bad about my people"
yet it's cool to be Italian and everyone thinks the Italian mafia is cool agree... all these gay looking boys acting like mafia when they were just a bunch of loosers who couldnt integrate into the high society.

Italian soldiers in Albania were pathetic. My great-grandfather took part in an attack on Shkoder from Kosova in 1940. A group of around 1700 men were able to dislodge Italian positions very quickly and would have been able to free Shkoder in its entirety had it not been for the fact that Catholic Albs did not want to take part in any organized attack against their co-religionists.
In Durres, a small band of about 200-300 Albs who were ridiculously loyal to Zog were able to throw the Italians back onto their ships and then needed an entire fleet before they were able to dislodge a small renegade band of Albs... lol, they were pathetic.
I don't blame them though, its not as if those Italian soldiers ever wanted to be there in the first place. It was not exactly their issue.
Anyway, such attacks were useless... I don't see why we would need to make any attack on Italians. They were going to lose in the end anyway and for the most part their occupation was quite beneficial for Albania. They built roads, they opened hospitals. Most of them, from what of family told me, were quite nice. And Albs have always had a thing for Italians. Some of the first people to propose an Albanian state against both the Byzantines and against the Ottomans were Italians themselves. And generally, when Italian generals invaded the Byzantine Empire, they could count on Albanians to support them... so long as victory was prospective.

From the book The Despotate of Epirus, by Nicol pg. 16
The Emperor Michael VIII in Constantinople was alarmed at the enterprise. In 1272 he wrote to the leading Albanians of Durazzo and Berat urging them to renounce their alliegence to Charles of Anjou and his captain Chinardo. The Albanians passed the letters on to Charles who thanked them for their loyalty and warned them against the deceitful machinations of the Greek Emperor.

Albanians were known for jumping ship whenever they pleased.
At the end the got the short end of the stick... hope future decisions are more fruitful.

Actually in that case, Albanians eventually reverted to an alliegence to the Byzantine Emperor, but only once they secured greater and greater autonomy for the area of what is today central Albania, the heartland of Albania then. So really, we got the fine end of the stick.

The Italians are ass-kissers but in the same time arrogant. I cant understand why that many Greeks like them...probably because they havent met any yet and dont know them.

I really like southern Italians. When I go to Veneto to stay with my cousins, the southern Italians I see that they are always the nicest to Albanians because they get treated like chit by the northern ones. One southern Italian called me "cugino"(cousin) particularly because of this and at my aunts job at the factory, the southern Italians and Albs get along quite well with one another.
