Serbia in USD 63mn CEFTA trade surplus 28 February 2009 | 12:31 | Source: Beta BELGRADE -- Serbia enjoyed a trade surplus of USD 63.2mn with CEFTA countries in January, according to the Statistical Office. The Office states that the surplus with CEFTA member-states was achieved thanks to the export of agricultural products, primarily cereal and its byproducts, as well as of various kinds of beverage. Serbian export in the CEFTA region totaled USD 132.1mn and import USD 68.9mn. Serbia’s main imports were iron and steel, coal and other energy resources.
