Are they planning to abolish RS with those planes? I think rs is safe from the new advanced Bosnian Airforce, unless they bring in the serbs from the rsk clown school to spread fear and cowardice among the Bosnian Serb population. I say beg the EU to donate the new advance fighters and have Siljadzic tell them they have to do it because of the genocide committed against BiH in the 1990's.

lol. Someone needs to inform the Bosnijaks that bananas are no longer an acceptable form of currency. I mean, how else to they intend to pay for any of this? Would they trade packets of Barpi and Violetta for it?

Is this for real? When I saw the thread header, I'm like whaaaat Boso planes? I think they need them to finish off the job the Serbs couldn't do, so many retards left there that should be six feet under. A big ljiljani needs to be attached to the ass end of the aircraft! To represent all "Bosnians"

Anyways, getting 6 -8planes seems meaningless, I would rather get more AA systems.. I totally agree with you here. None of these new banana Balkan countries has an air force big and versatile enough so to overwhelm the AA defenses of any European country. 6-8 JAS-39 Grippen would be no problem for any AA defense force that has S-125 (SA-3), 2K12 Kub (SA-6) or alike. I won't even go into the S-300/400 and Patriot systems. So those 8 Grippens would be lost before you even knew what hit you. Furthermore it is cheaper to own and maintain AA systems than advanced jet fighters. During the 1999 NATO bombing of Serbia, Serbs kept the radars turned off as so not to lose them to enemy fire. Yes we would have shot down more planes but would have risked losing all radars and SAM sites as it is rather hard to defeat an air force consisting of 1000+ modern aircraft and anti radar weapons. This thread is meaningless [as much as I would get a hard on from fighters with a BiH flag on them], seen as non of the exyu countries field an airworthy airforce... Serbia has one on paper, but most of it doesn't fly... As for the 1999 war, the large number of AA fielded by Serbia meant that NATO did not fly low, something that made it harder for them to hit. Serbia had/has an enormous number of rather basic AA, like the prage, that would have taken out low flaying aircraft... I'm not sure how many aircraft NATO lost, depends who's side you believe...

This thread is meaningless No it’s not, it shows everyone what kind of PICKETINE these anti-bosnians truly are, they fear the idea of 6-8 new Bosnian warplanes as if it was nuclear weapons directed at Belgrade and Zagreb. ;D

If there ever was a war, we would be better of with AA systems that worked, rather then 8 fighters..... these fighters, given the short distences in the balkans, would not have the time to take of if their airbase was attacked, and the chance o 8 ighers getting through all the AA systems, is well, not that likely, especially without all the support that an airforce needs, AWACS, intel, radars... etc... the 99' airwar showed that an AA system can hold rather ok against a much larger force...at that time Serbia had only 12 up to date fighters I think? Anyways, Bosnia needs a new AR, new IFV, and heli's... those crappy M16A1'a are, well crappy... MiG, sto imas F-5 u signaturi? ako sam dobro vidio, F-5 nikada nije bio u sastavu ni HRZ ni JRV

As has been said, Serbia has S-125 Neva and 2K12 Kub which was good enough to force NATO pilots to fly at safer altitudes ultimately making it much much harder to carry out precision strikes with weapons like JDAM and GBU Paveway 2. If the Federation wanted to protect herself from future air threats then a number of S-300 systems would be the way to go. Those would easily bring down anything, any BiH surrounding country has to offer. As far as I am concerned, new jet fighters are a stupid way of wasting money.

The Bosnian landscape makes it extremley difficult to just take over land by foot. That also means, that if you are defending, if you have some tactic, simply men power alone will allow you to hold positions pretty well. Furthemore, non of the other republics have that good of an air force..so its like we need to protect ourself much from that.
This is more to protect your own air space. Which Bosnia should really do by themselves.

Which Bosnia should really do by themselves. Don't be fooled. For argument sake, if Serbia was to fit Soko jets with the home made Laser Guided bomb LVB-250 and a onboard camera and laser designator (which is not that hard at all these days), you would sustain some heavy losses if you were not able to defend (via AA) that extremely difficult to take by foot land. Air strikes and precision is the key in modern warfare dating back to world war 2 where it was often said, who dominates the skies dominates the battlefield. It is therefore no surprise why the USAF is so advanced and large.

^ Did they fit one of those annoying laser pointers to tip of a bomb and put some fins on it because thats what it looks like? We better watch out they could hurt our eyes with those.

Could be Super Galeb but on that pic it looks lot more like F-5 the nose of the plane is lot longer than the G-4 and its lot thinner in the back than the G-4
Edit: I also notice a faded out petokraka on your signature, whats up with that?
