I meant why it would be obvious not to know Cyrillic, no harm in expanding ones horizon. But to each his own, as they say i just like to know as much as I can, could come in handy when I visit the Chernobyl quarantine zone next year. I'm fluent in German (amazing how fast you learn a language when you must), and I took Castilian Spanish classes, but I’m struggling with it badly.

I'm all for expansion; however I would be wasting my time with cyrillic, I would never use it. However I speak some German with friends and Spanish with an uncle who was born in Argentina.

Thats fair! Serbian Cyrillic is actually very easy to learn, because it replicates the Croatian alphabet letter for letter (unlike Ukraine or Russian), it's just a process of memorizing the latin/cyrillic symbol relation. But I can't write cyrillic cursive for the life of me "However I speak some German with friends and Spanish with an uncle who was born in Argentina" Argentinean Spanish is cool, it is heavily influenced by Italian, gives it a neat distinction from Castilian. Hast du Deutsch in der schule gelernt? If I had not lived in Germany, it would have been a brutal task to learn that language, it's not very learning friendly.

Well most of us don't read it for obvious reasons.

Jaka si mi ti Slavonka i Bosanka kad jedan Srbin bolje govori, pise i cita Hrvatski jezik nego ti.

Most of us don't read it, fullstop. It has nothing to do with my views. So please stop provocating me and please read the forum rules. Get over yourself, I'm not pro anything, In case you hadn't noticed I don't live in the past like most of you. I am interested in history, fullstop. That is why I'm here. I am not here to provocate or try and change people views. I am also not here to promote any political party. So please stop provoking me, being rude etc; as you will just be deleted.
