HRVATSKA - DOMOVINA KRAVATE Hrvatski je Sabor izglasao i proglasio danas 18og Listopada - Danom Kravate u Republici Hrvatskoj. Neka se cuje da Kravata potjece od Hrvata. !!!
Sretno svim ljubiteljima Kravate i Hrvatske nam Domovine ...

Just remember to think of Croatia next time u put one on. And we all know sooner or later (regardless of whether u like them or not) u will need one!

Danas će se na središnjem zagrebačkom trgu održati svečano obilježavanje Dana kravate u RH. Taj dan i ove godine svečano će se obilježiti diljem Hrvatske društvenim i kulturnim događajima te vezivanjem kravate na spomenike hrvatskih velikana. Također, obilježit će se i u raznim dijelovima svijeta, Crnoj Gori, Njemačkoj, Italiji, Japanu, Australiji.Sinoć je hrvatsko veleposlanstvo u Madridu u povodu današnjeg dana kravate na pročelje zgrade u kojem se nalazi postavilo umjetničku instalaciju kravate, duge 8 metara. Instalacija kravate na zgradi će ostati do ponedjeljka.Prije pet godina, 18. listopada 2003. godine, u Puli je izvedena autorska instalacija Marijana Bušića Kravata oko Arene, koju je kao vrhunski svjetski spektakl putem svjetskih TV postaja vidjelo više od milijardu ljudi. Ocijenjeno je kako je to bio najambiciozniji i najosmišljeniji projekt promocije hrvatskog identiteta u svijetu. BoG i Hrvati. lol ive worn one once when i was 7 and never have again and most probabaly never will, dont even wear it at weddings and never wore it to formals. Its pretty pathetic your so proud of this.

There's an International Pizza Day and a World Pizza Day. For other Italian inventions, I doubt they would have a day for things that don't actually work :-)

Did a Croat invent the lacy poofy thing that they all wore with the stockings and stuff looking like peacocks or did he invent the tie that we now Know ? Who invented the one we all recognize now ? And who the hell was responsible for the leather thin tie of the 80's ?

Your obviously unfamiliar with the quality and craftsmanship of the ties/cravats produced by Croata. Their products are widely recognized world wide and sought after. Do u notice a hint of jealously amongst the serbians of this forum? Funny that?
