I find it funny how Fender and Illyria are the only pure blooded Croats here yet they seem to be the sanest as well. Speaks volumes, truly.
Sanest? How do you know who's sane and who's not. Got a degree in psychology? Yeah, wtf is that about...Illyria is clearly not right in the head ;D Vidlo se iz aviona. How about you translate that to croatian, because I can't read that maybe u need a serbian translation.

People, by sanest I mean a person who isn't hypocritical and is coherent. Illyria's coherency is moot but compared to you guys, she's sane. good on him ... he fought against terrorists, and should be proud. I dont see anything wrong with that. He didn't fight. He dug holes for pigs in uniform.

Dads dad side : All Serbs from Montenegro (Podgorica and Niksic) for the last 500 years. before that my family traces its roots to Mostar and Prilep (Fyrom). Theres an Albanian off shoot of the tribe, but i dont know any of them.
Dads mum : All Serbs from Stara-Hercegovina. My great Grandad also lived in Detroit for 20 years before coming back just before ww2.
Mums dad : Serbs from Krajina.
Mums mums : Serbs who migrated from Montenegro in late 19th century to Vojvodina. My great Grandad was a train director and was issued a job at Vinkovic rail station (Hrvatska) and moved the family there. After this the Serb side started mixing with other ethos, so i have Croatian, Hungarian, German and Jewish cousins.

Are you in Croatia Medimurje? Welcome to the forum... and lol @ Zurich/Germany, it's in Switz tyson :-) Hello, Thanks for the welcome. This is my 2nd Christmas in Zurich now. I grew up in Cakovec all my life. Got married and my wife found it hard to settle at home since she spent all her life abroad. Also her parents do not live at home either so she was you could say home sick most of the time. Then one has to do what they must do so we moved to Zurich. So she now has got her old job at a hospital as a nurse and I'm in aviation(Avionics engineer). But I do go home every 8-10 months for 1-2 weeks.
