Petar II Petrović-Njegoš (1830-1851) Writing to Ilija Garasanin, Serbia politician, from Trieste, Nov. 11, 1850:
"From the Montenegrins you have nothing to worry about. Towards you we hold nothing but pure brotherly honestly. Our truest calling and shrine, after Czar Dusan's name, is Karadjordje. Whoever speaks against this name is not a Serb, but rather a leprous degenerate of our nation"
Prince Danilo, I (1851-1860) Prince Danilo's code (1855), para 92.
"In this country there is no other nation than Serbian and no other religion but Eastern Orthodox"
Prince/King Nikola (1860-1918) „Montenegrin Voice”, January 2, 1919:
"Authorities in Serbia and its agents have accused me of being against Yugoslavia unity. Let it be know that no individual from Serbdom and Yugoslavdom has done more to achieve that unity, thus continuing the work of my immortal ancestors"

"In this country there is no other nation than Serbian and no other religion but Eastern Orthodox"
Prince Danilo never believed nor wrote that, it was not in the original rukopis.
"Authorities in Serbia and its agents have accused me of being against Yugoslavia unity. Let it be know that no individual from Serbdom and Yugoslavdom has done more to achieve that unity"
Yes, serbdom to him was being orthodox, nothing to do with your people.
And the first Njegos quote, is him sucking up to the Serbian writers he worshipped so much. The very same Ilija Garasanin can be quoted saying : "Let Montenegro fall, let it be exctinct from history"
Heres a quote from Njegos, when he was a young man and still smart!
"No krsna i siromasna Crna Gora ne haje ni za Nemanje, ni za Murate, ni za Bonaparte; svi oni bise pa minuse, a mac svoj o Crnogorce djekoji opipase, pa nestase a Crna Gora ostade dovijeka i strasnoga suda, u svojoj volji i slobodi..." – Njegos
It does not bow down to the Serbs nor to the Turks nor to the French!
“O, veliki Samostvoritelju, pomozi jadnome, no junackome crnogorskom narodu, odrzi ga u slozi i viteskom postenju!”
- Petar II Petrovic Njegos
Long live Montenegro!

"In this country there is no other nation than Serbian and no other religion but Eastern Orthodox" Prince Danilo never believed nor wrote that, it was not in the original rukopis. But it is in HIS code. You think it snuck in there by accident. "Authorities in Serbia and its agents have accused me of being against Yugoslavia unity. Let it be know that no individual from Serbdom and Yugoslavdom has done more to achieve that unity" Yes, serbdom to him was being orthodox, nothing to do with your people. Point is to prove that he yearned for uniting Serbdom, and that thus Montenegro was no annexed. And the first Njegos quote, is him sucking up to the Serbian writers he worshipped so much. The very same Ilija Garasanin can be quoted saying : "Let Montenegro fall, let it be exctinct from history" Gorski Vijenac is dedicate to 'prahu oca Srbije' KARADJORDJU... who was he sucking up to when he wrote that masterpiece? You are just a jealous Siptar izrod jealous of Montenegro being Serbian as opposed to Siptar influenced.

Montenegrins are Montenegrins, Serbs are our brothers but we are not Serbs the same way Croats and Serbs are not the same. I am from old Montenegro and we are very Patriotic towards Serbia and have jumped to help her when ever she called, but we are Proud Montenegrins and will never loose our Identity.

Very true deki, notice how marko and ljubomir fail to comment on my Njegos' quotes.
The thing they fail to realize is that during that time and in that isolated region, the term serb did not have the same meaning as today. Just like many words change meaning throughout history!
Why, I believe the word "gay" meant happy at one point in America.....
So now according to Marko the big-brain, if a writer from the 1930's wrote a poem:
"Oh I'm singing in the rain, playing with my friend and we're so gay"
He would come to the conclusion that they were homosexuals! ;D

^^
Yet todays meaning of the word gay, accounts souly to you.
The term Serb never meant Orthodox..........why then werent Russians or Greeks or Bulgarians called Serbs you idiot? Why would the term Serb be known as Orthodox, when Serbs existed in the Balkans before Orthodoxy? Why is their historical evidence of Serbian people living in present day Montenegro, before the term "Montenegrin" was even created?
Youre not going to wipe out or history Siptar. Many have tried before, none have succeeded. Whats even more funny is that Montengro has sold all its weapons , tanks, submarines off............and has no capability to fight a war. When the time comes again, the Serbs of Montenegro will rise once again for their freedom like their ancestors and despose Djukanovic and his Albanian and Muslim cohorts (Aka : Terrors Grandma). Once again Montenegro will achieve its historical aim of becoming a Serbian State, and Njegosh, Miljanov, Petar Cetinjski and the rest will be smiling down upon our black mountains and beautiful coast............and to be called a Montengrin will once again be a positive term.
Two top reasons to be Montenegrin today :
1. Casino Royale (Even though it wasnt filmed there) 2. You get to clean up after Serb tourists during Summer.

I think the two Seljacine in your avatar say it best : Three Ls..................Losers x 3
Eviva Eviva Eviva andale ariba ariba Montenegrinos.

Yes it did.
In the balkans, there have existed 2 main types of people, Slavs and Greeks, "Serb" was a term used for Orthodox only by Montenegrins, and was used as well as "Grk", both meaning orthodox.
The Montenegrins were an isolated peoples, the majority not knowing of Bulgarians or Romanians, or what have you.
They in general knew Turk, and Montenegrin. Orthodox and Muslim. "Serb' was a term which caught on after the Nemanjic's annexation of Montenegro, the Serbs' annexation and conversion of the Montenegrins caused them to see being Orthodox Christian as an equal to being Serb, and not something ethnic or national.
"Taj stari srednjovjekovni tip, koji indentifikuje srpstvo s pravoslavljem, osnova je sininimici po kojoj su gdekojim prostim ljudima naseg veka Rumuni, Rusi, Grci - srpske vere zato sto su pravoslavni, i po kojoj uopste ima srpske vere" - St. Novakovic 1893
Learn history you dumb jadan.
The term serb was known as orthodox in a localised sense, it wasn't like that in Serbia nor Macedonia. Only in Montenegro, which had little to none communication with the outside world for long periods of time.
There is no such evidence, along with the fact there is no evidence the slavs in Duklja did not call themselves Montenegrins even then.
For "Montenegro" was known to be the name for the region around Cetinje even before the 12th century.
And the Crnojevici hail originally from this region, which is why when Ivan moved the capital of zeta(name given by serbs), from Zabljak to Cetinje, he renamed the whole country "Montenegro".
So naive, you really believe that? Every civilian of Montenegro owns a gun and automatic rifle, not to mention there is a para-military squad ran by Jevrem Brkovic in Cetinje, with over 2000 members and having plenty of fire-power.
When the time comes you will run away and hide, like your granddaddy Alija.
Top reasons to not like Serbia:
1. Burnt UN buildings 2. Skin heads who forgot Hitler hated them. 3. Roasted Serb hooligans
Long Live Mala Srbija! Mala je kao partisanova kur*ina!

Deki I do not want to be/sound mean but the best way to keep your indentity is to keep/speak the language or at least this is the half way. This I have said to some Serbs on this forum as well and that is the reason that I post mostly on Serbian language (to make those forum members to read and write on their language).

Terror, you are the biggest hypocrite on these forums.. You say that you do not hate Serbia or Serbs, but yet, in most posts you spit on them in any way you can...
just a couple examples from one post alone: - Top reasons to not like Serbia - Long live mala srbija...
And there a countless other examples that show your hate of Serbia and for the Serb people...
You're not a Crnogorac, nor will you ever be. A Crnogorac would never have such hate for a fellow Serb like you do, even the the most ardent pro independence ones.. You're a siptar and everyone here knows it.

And if you read your compatriot's posts too, you'd see him talking about Montenegrins cleaning up Serb doo-doo.
Not like you would care.
Call me a siptar or w/e, but I'll be the one laughing while Montenegro continues to beat Serbia in everything possible.
