Christos A. Chomenidis
The "Victory" (Niki) of Christos A. Homenidis was honored with the European Prize for Novel (Prix du Livre Europeen), one of the most important distinctions in the field of literature. Christos Homenidis wrote in a post on his Facebook account about this distinction: "The awarding of the European Novel Prize to" Niki "is a Victory for Greece. Through art, our homeland can be re-introduced to the world. At the time of this great justification and joy, I think of my mother and father who were the first inspiration for "Victory". I think of the teachers who gave me the lights. I think of the readers who have supported me for almost thirty years now. I thank my publisher Anna Pataki, who inspires me with brotherly love. I hug my most personal faces. I send a big kiss to my daughter's peers young readers, through whom our new writers will emerge.

Are you kidding man?you feel no love or respect for your own nation, your own people?you're a strange man!
I just dont feel this anglosaxon subsidiary has anything to offer to mankind. We are the last of the last in everything. We have lost our faith due to our saksan masters, our soul, our freedom, our everything. I am not happy with what saksan occupation has made us to be.
You live abroad or in Greece?
IMPORTANT NOTE : Considering SERBIA or RUSSIA as stronger countries does not mean I hate my little occupied Greece. Quite the opposite. Love? lots of it. Respect? not so much.

I live in Greece!
Greece needs to participate to NATO in order to survive.Unfortunately the balkan peninsula is a very nasty place to live, mostly bcz of Turkey.I envy countries such as Portugal or Holland because they face no threat, they dont have to maintain armed forces for self protection. On the contrary Greece is obliged to have a strong army.
As about Serbia is a RUSSIAN subsidiary.I dont understand your obsession with slavic people.i prefer usa and western europe instead.i prefer western culture all though i respect russian civilisation pretty much.
we are a small nation and we do our best,we offer to mankind more than many other small nations. This thread about prominent modern Greeks is a proof that we do offer. Many of the Greek scientists and ship owners work abroad and offer to mankind pretty much. Our athletes do a magnificent job internationally since the triumph of Pyrros and Patoulidou in 1992 Olympics. Many people admire the contribution of our country in WII.
i do believe that we offer to mankind more than Serbia, which is btw a very nice country,no doubt about that.
its nice that you love your country,i wasnt expecting for this.

btw do not forget about the contribution of our own Imperium Graecorum to the slavic people. We,the Hellenistic Greek-orthodox Byzantine empire had offered the orthodox religion and the alphabet to the Slavs, that was the beggining and rooth of their civilisation!Their history begun when they first met our people!WITHOUT US they would be another asian muslim nation today.they owe us!

far from the truth.
Glagolithic script, is the oldest script on earth and is predecessor of Phoenician/Hebrew script. So, indirectly it was the Slavs who gave the alphabet to Greeks.
I would say Latins as well, but Latins were a Slavic spin-off (Etruscians).
Do not believe western garbage my friend.
West ppl do not love us... they tolerate us as long as we are small and insignificant. If we were stronger like the Cretans or the Cypriots the west would bomb us just like Serbia.

links?
only in specific books and articles. Not on google sorry.
Also, bear in mind this :
EVERYWHERE I went in the ballans + slovakia / czech , when I said I am Greek, ppl felt so much happy to hear this. So so much love from the Slavs..... so so many true and sincere feelings ... such great sense of Christianity and good.
Why do we Greeks have to keep kissing whesto butts? because of their money? prestige?
WE DO NOT BELONG TO THE WHEST . PERIOD. WE ARE NOT NAZIs like the WHEST.

i also believe that Slavs are very nice people and they do like Greece.
But its very important that the war in Ukraine will be soon over.i feel very frustrated about the situation in Ukraine.NATO should not expand towards Russia and Russia should not invade Ukraine.it's so wrong.do you also disapprove this war?
About non conventional history now...i just dont believe this stuff.i believe what science says and it says that WE gave the alphabet to the Slavs.Saint Cyril and Methodius,Byzantine Thessalonian orthodox brothers, who were send by our Emperror to the Slavs.period.

anglosaksan pseudo-history is not science. Their "science" has been debunked a bazilion times. What they claim is totally false. Whatever they say should be examined with great caution.
About the war in Ukraine. Russia has been long pushed into this war. Long long time ago. Follow me, pls. The saksans get Poland, Baltics, Bulgaria, Serbia, all ex-YU, Crna Gora + Makedonia. ALL THEIR OWN. ALL SAKSAN. In 2014, they get Ukraine with this nasty coup ... And tnen they start placing sanctions to Russia and banning EVERYTHING RUSSIAN in ALL SPORTS TOURNAMENTS!!! how about that??? crazy??? yes... with saksans and the west we see lots of craziness. At the same time, they arm Kiev to the teeth, and start genocide against the eastern Ukrainians... If they like Russia they can move to Russia right? that's life....
BUT THE FEW ARBINOS in 1999 who wanted Kosoves, did not move to albania, they stayed there and waited for NATO to send the Serbs away from their ancient home land of ORTHODOX KOSOVO....
My friend , west = hypocricy ... those are hybrids, snakes, reptilesm spineless, they are not human...
I dont want to have anything to do with the satanic west...
So its only Slavs for me.
