I need an Albanian tutor, someone to chat with me so I can pick up the language (and cultural knowledge). Preferably someone from Montenegro. Anyone? Thanks.

There is a forum member called Malsor4Life who is an Albanian from Montenegro. He hasn't seemed to have been around for a while though. Why does it need to be someone from Montnegro?

Not necessarily. I just know the dialects are different. Would you mind helping me. You seem nice.

I'm not a Siptar so I can't teach you Albanian. I forgot to mention the user krivosije, he is also an Albanian who has links to Montenegro & knows how to speak Albanian. You should send him a PM.

Krivosije is a Montenegrin, atleast so he says.
To "justcurious"; unfortunately I cannot be of much help to you, simply because learning out a language isn't done online. My advice is that you hook up with some Albanians and try to learn from them, since there's no better way of learning, or better yet, pay a visit to the Albanian speaking parts of Montenegro and stay there for a while and try picking up the language. You could also take classes, but those would be in standard Albanian which isn't entirely the same as the dialect spoken in Montenegro (which is the northern dialect, also spoken in Kosova). Still, that'd be better in a way as all literature and public broadcasting is done in the standard language, including in Montenegro. But if you want to learn the dialect, I dont think there are any online courses ... you need to socialize with people from there.
Could one ask you why you want to learn Albanian, and more specifically, the dialect which is spoken in Montenegro?
