If all the point came from foul kicks, then I might complain. But when the majority did not... I have no reason to complain...

Yea I saw the game. The last penalty was a fault. Dallku was tackled outside, not inside the zone. The other penalties Salihi was takcled inside in both cases. Nothing given for free there. Then there were three goals from actions. Again nothing given for free. Cyprus is not a bad team. I think they had a bad day. Thats all. And it was a friendly. But since the team is made of Greeks of course there's gonna be teasing involved in the forums. Whoever posted this knew that Basil and Kanarina would post in response. There was another goal that wasn't counted from Salihi. The ball came to him from the Cypriot goalie yet the Turkish referee called offside. There is no offside if the player from the other team gives you the ball.
Anyways we'll see if Denmark will score 6 to us.

Anyways we'll see if Denmark will score 6 to us. ..depends if the referee is Scandianavian or not.. Personally I believe Albania is a better football team than Cyprous. You didnt need these penalties to win.. neither the Turkish referee. But.. it was just bad for your reputation. Whoever wins with 3 penalties... it sounds a little bit weird. You didnt need it..

You're missing the point Basil, if Albania won say 3-1 off those penalty kicks then you can make a case. But they did not. Shut up and move along.

The game against cyprus has one off the best games for us in years out of 3 penalties 2 wore corect I was in stadium when we won against europen champions 2-1 in 2004 that day one of the best days in my life and i dont think that we can make a atmosfere like that anymore in our nacinal stadium. Most of people who make a good atmosfere in our nacional games are albanians from macedonia and kosova i know this coz i seen most of games in qemal stafa and you see shqipe from kosova who have travelled 18 hours from mitrovica to come and see our nacional team these guys are true nacionalists jo me fjale po me vepra zoti i bekofte njerez te tille

Many of my friends from Mitrovica travel to Tirana to cheer for the national team. Usually the most fanatical fans. Either way, I hope the new coach (Josip Kuzhe was it? What is he?) brings in more new blood. This new guy, Emiljano Vila, seems talented.

I think its silly to blame the ref's nationality since Albania dominated the game. Would've won either way.
Josip Kuzhe is a very dedicated coach. The Croatians coaches seem to work for Albania. Like Otto Baric, he will probably give us a lot of wins.
I can't stress enough how important it is to invest in soccer. Esp. invest in kids and mini soccer fields.

Kuzhe is another great croatian tactician. Bilic (croatian NT coach) said that whenever Kuzhe speaks about football, all of us should pay attention. Apparently a great fan of WWII books. He also has built solid rapport with the players almost instantly.
But he is setting up some tough goals for the NT. He claims that we will be contenders for the european qualifiers. The team has grown stronger in the last few months, but how will he transform it into a contender? We are in great need of a solid centre-back, whilst playing Cana as a CB too (this assuming that Bulku will be effective enough against strong opponents). The forwards will be 2 out of Bogdani-Salihi-Berisha-Kapllani, three of which must play and score with their clubs much more than they did last season, plus Bogdani is already 31 I think). The midfield is good. Skela and Duro might be too old for those qualifiers. That means that we will need a new central/attacking midfielder. All hopes on this rely on Vila, who is the new superstar of the young albanian talents, and Bylykbashi perhaps (already a leader in his ukranian club). It will be quite something if Vila could develope the passing-game that Skela has (vital for the attack).
Although more young blood is joining the midfield. Roshi (flamurtari player), Bakaj, and Hyka all have ofensive potential and are still developing. Hopefully they reach the level that Kuzhe expects of them.

Emiliano Vila? Anybody has any info on this new player? I know he plays for Dinamo of Zagreb.
Is this his first goal?

Vila was bought by Dinamo Zagreb, but decided to loan him to a satelite club team they have (also in the croatian league) because they thought he wouldn't be able to break into the first team this season. His total time played for the NT is probably less than 45 mins, but has scored twice already (both friendlies).

The dudes that are translating Kuzhe's words are putting words he doesn't say in English.
