Its a scene from the battle of Arahova in 1826...where the Greek army lead by Karaiskakis kicked some tourkalvanian as$es... Make me a favour...go to Arahova...and ask them to talk to you about the local "pyramid" and what was its "ethnicity"....its hard to understand what i'm saying but make this favour ...go to Arahova and ask...

The majority of Arvanites are a lost cause. The newer generation does not speak the language and the Albanian stereotypes rampant in Greece have made them weary of calling themselves Albanian. If Albania were a more prosperous country and freed itself from communism earlier, then you would see a larger identifying Arvanite group today. But unfortunately that is not the case. For the Arvanite that feel Greek, good for them. They're descendants have been living in Greece for hundreds of years and many of them fought for it's independence. I have no problem with them identifying as Greek, as long as they do not harbor hateful prejudices against Albanians. For those Arvanites that still hold their mother tongue and feel Albanian, I welcome those with open arms. Albanians need to salvage whatever that remains of this group![/b] Those are the lucky ones huh.

. Fact is this Melty dont seem to know even basic geography ... Armenians are not Christian Balkan entitiesGo and research how much Jews,Armenians and Greeks contributed to the Ottoman empire. actually Armenians were also scapegoats as the degree of suffering they endured was in part out of the great frustration the crumbling empire was feeling in general but this frustration was brought down most heavily on the Armenians.
