Bosnian Serbs mark Bratunac massacre
The commemoration, which is being organized by the Republic of Srpska Government Committee for Upholding Traditions of the Wars of Liberation, will be attended by senior RS officials.
Invitations have also been sent to representatives of the international community.
The ceremony will begin with the laying of wreaths in Bratunac, visits to villages around Srebrenica, and the unveiling of a monument to murdered civilians and fallen warriors of the RS Army.
The central commemoration to be attended by senior RS officials will be held in Srebrenica, Committee President Branka Šljivar confirmed.
“It’s well known that on July 12, 1992 69 civilians were killed, 70 wounded, while a further 19 are still listed as missing in three villages—Sase, Zalazje and Biljaèa,“ said Šljivar.
Today’s ceremony takes places in an atmosphere of heightened bitterness following the acquittal of Naser Oriæ. RS Prime Minister Milorad Dodik believes that that verdict reflects the attitude of the international community to Serb victims, and he accused international and Bosnian institutions of ignoring Serb victims of the conflict.
“The suffering of the Serbs in and around Srebrenica during those three years was in no way inferior, it just didn’t take place cumulatively in the space of a few days, but over the course of three years. Over 3,500 people lost their lives there, for which, as you can see, they clear Naser Oriæ, and convict Biljana Plavšiæ of command responsibility, even though she didn’t command anything in the RS, and only held political office. And that makes us wonder again if we’re willing to accept the double standards in this republic or not. I am not willing,“ underlined Dodik.
Invitations to the ceremony were sent to representatives of the international community, the Office of the High Representative, ambassadors, and foreign accredited diplomats in Bosnia-Hercegovina.

It's sad to see nobody being held accountable for this. Naser Oric should be re-tried. May those individuals souls rest in peace, and may they never be forgotten.

RIP to the civilians and especialy children.
We already have two threads about Srebrenica which have turned into slug fests, leave this one alone - Deucaon.

Oric was found not guilty on appeal ... he cannot be tried for the same crime twice. Mig ... did u follow the case, the evidence? Didnt think so. Please dont bring into question something that u have no insight into. The hague expressed regret that crimes were committed but could not link the crimes to Oric beyond reasonable doubt.

Rest in peace all innocent victims especially women, children and elderly. May those who committed these crimes rot in hell. I love how Marko justifies things, shows his true Bosnian blood.

While i dont mean that anything or all written in this thread by Croats/Muslims is bad per se, i think it would be a good idea to erase all posts in this thread that bear irrelevant flags (croats/muslim flags), and just leave the images talk by themselves. Also, it would be a good idea to make this thread sticky. This collection of images is a very good reference, hard to find in the ocean of antiserb BS. So lets give the opportunity to the ones who want to learn more about the bosnian war than the fast food BS that they serve them.

I believe in the forthcoming days as well as the recent days, the anti-serb orgy is going to continue, and i think it would be nice to have another clean thread, where we could <a href=""/> to. I think it is of much more substantial value and power that any text-only anti-serb propaganda out there.
