This is Rhezus again in the Turkey forum:
I have been telling this to everyone for ages. Rhezus is not Bulgarian. Being Turk or Greek can be either nationality or ethnicity or both. But what is being Thracian? Where are the boundaries of this country and where can I find unquestionable representatives of this ethnicity? You are a nutcase, Rhezus. Probably harmless and quiet one, but weirdo nevertheless.
p.s. this topic (about W. Thrace) is interesting. You can see how Rhezi defends Turkey more passionately than Bottomani and Yahac put together.

Rusetürk, I think you have personal problems. I told you before.. get rid of your vulgar attitude (steppe one?!). Don't play the besserwisser game again. And please, I am not interested in talking about states ( I know Bulgar had some in Volga and elsewhwere). As said - there's difference between nationality and ethnic origin!! Germans and Austrians have different nationalities, but still the same ethicity. P.S. Nice said Bonni..

I fully agree with you guys.
Ruse has issues to resolve, and first of all, he must give up some of that nationalist dogma he rests upon.

Would you answer the question I asked, Bottomani?
I don't care whether you find it interesting, you mongrel Tatar-Mongol-Buriat-Apache-Arab-Seljuk.
Huh? Step or steppe? It seems you are obssessed with steppes.
And one south of Danube that have issued you a passport you don't deserve. Go to Thracia next time you have to change your ID documents.

Where is this country called Thracia situated and who are its undisputed citizens? Thanks, Botomari Tatari. It is here. It is where most Thracian descendants live.

That place will always exsist... It's your problem how you call it. Once again, I am not interested in countries or states.. Niether interested in khans who cross all over places to make different states.

You should be. After all, states is where people live. You know, with laws, rules, regulations and so on. It is not my fault your Thracians created nothing like that and were constantly fighting each other. You may go to some community with lonely stoners and spend your entire life there.

Haha.. Thracians created much more than your can imagine. Europe oldest culture, religion, music, wine and artifacts which steppe bulgars just ruined. Lucky that the Thracian soils have still most burryed and not discovered yet. It's not my fault you don't care about other than states. So you mean Bulgaria is one perfect example of how a state should function??! Hahaha... ;D ;D That's such a myth. In fact it was the steppe bulgars who were constantly fighting with other warlike ppl - avars, pechenegs, etc. etc. That's why they moved all around the steppes, creating new states. ;D ;D

Seriously on the question. I dont think that at the time there was nationality in todays conseption. Were the Greeks at the time one nation? I really doubt it. They were Greek tribes that were fighting each other. However this didnt stop them to turn into nationality. North of them it was the same situation with the Thracians. We dont even know if they felt any unity (like the law that only Greeks can participate in the Olympic games) due to the lack of any direct sources from them (and the inscriptions of them are not really read). However if they did not feel like an unity its just another indication we are direct desedant of them (Bulgarians must be the most ununified nation). Again, I think the main substrate that formed us was them and its obvious cause we look more like the Romanians, the Greeks, the Italians, the Spanish than the Poles or the Tatars. These people, together with the Slavs and the Bulgars formed the present day Bulgarians.
