im gonna copy paste our thread from esterday so the others can see it in my opinion kosovo but not macedonia is the place where bulgarian and serbian interests confronted kosovo is inseparable part of the first bg empire since 850-till 1018.most of the monesteryes what u know as serbian were built by bg emperor boris1.later kosovo was governed by bizantia ,bulgaria again and several independent rulers.only in late 14 century serbia took kosovo and then the province suddenly become holy serbian land [that mythical battle].well those are well known facts and i guess u know them too during late otoman rule christians there are described as serbs in some occasions and bulgarians in other.nevertheless in 1870 predominant part of them joined bulgarian exarchat and in the last census in the empire in 1911 they stated bulgarians.i have some doccument but cant upload it there dont know why. also-the original kosovo dialect[today not widely spoken in fact]is not serbian but western bulgarian[sopsko-turlaski].i have some authentic songs from kosovo ,sung in this dialect-i can send u if u want me to

Kosovar serbs are actually bulgarians Kosovar Serbs do not exist only Serbs from Kosovo and they are called Kosovci. Kosovars are Albanians from Kosovo and Metohija not Serbs. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Shonic or Tonic, behave. You are noit that smart to insult.

Bulgarians might be asimilated Serbs. Bulgarians originaly are not Slavs (as far as I know) and they have been asimilated by Slavs (and not Slavs by Bulgarians).

"Shonic or Tonic, behave. You are noit that smart to insult." First of all I did not insult anyone. For example I did not say you are ...... or something. I just have offered something to you, TerroReign and Besarab. It is up to you guys if you will accept my offer or not. You do not have to be smart to insult. Actualy smart people usualy do not insult (or rarely)at least not in a "simple way".

I can offer you tons of things you wouldn't enjoy, so don't try to play innocent or smart please.
Actually, you do. If the insult is of the sort that worths reading.

You should upload it on the net from sites like: www, imageshack.us and then post it. I have listened to that Belo platno song (I heard it before and I like it). It is a Serbian language called Torlak , it is different from official Serbian but it is. I would better not repeat my offer.

my serbian friend-torlak dialect[called also sopsko-torlaksi]is a pure bulgarian dialect spoken in western bulgaria and eastern serbia as well i dont know how familiar are you with this but as a bulgarian dialect torlak demonstrates the same linguistic inovations like the rest ofthe bulgarian dialects---- lack of case declension, lack of infinitive verb and very specific verb sistem[with various forms of the verbs].very typical as well is the definitive article.all those tnngs make the torlak[along with other bg dialects] an analityc dialect--in distinction of serbian and every other slavik languages wich are sinthetic. so -- i dont have any idea if you realise how different is torlak from serbian--- i understand this is a shock for you but try to consider it without emotions

It is "normal" that in various parts of some country people speak different dialects or even different languages (for exmpl. in China). Torlak is just between central Serbian and Bulgarian (same thing as with Makedonian). That is why I understand Bulgarian. Even in Bulgaria there are diferent dialects. I can barely understand Bulgarians from north then the ones from south. In Cyprus they speak Greek but most Greeks from Greece barely understand it.

However besarab point was that SCIENTIFICALLY what differs Serbian and Bulgarian mainly is the grammer and Torlak dialect has grammer typical for Bulgarian. Make your own conclusion.
