So you thought you could explain that to me.. Actually Thracians included numerous tribes, from Hungary and Romania down to the Egean sea and Turkey. Still most of them over 80 different tribes dwelled in Thracia and Moesia (territories of today BG). I know that very well, chalk.
I say Thracians are the main element in the ethnic compositon of BG. The lands, from time immemoria, have been and belonged to the Thracians. Hope that you now could figure it out a bit?!
Me and Jan are two different individuals. Oh, and do I need to find a perfect match for you?

Oh, and do I need to find a perfect match for you? Rhezus, i know about your stance about the thracians....what i was referring to is what exactly is your stance on the bulgarian makeup ? It seems so much that you do not want to accept the fact that bulgars make up a part of the bulgarian identity by ironically comparing them to being turks to piss off your fellow bulgarian members . Yet, you team up with Jan on every issue that involves turkey which is why i referred to the odd couple comment. I am baffeled as what you believe is the " bulgarian " makeup. Are you saying that bulgarians have nothing to do with bulgars in general ? And that they are thracians with slavic mix only ?

^^ Chalk, I don't say else than our roots are predominantly domestic. Bulgars for sure have a certain impact, but our origin is not from the steppes of Asia. Bulgars came and stayed, they get absorbed, but we don't speak any turanic speech (as i.e. the magyars do), just because bulgars were much fewer in numbers. It's their own problem if some BG members are embarassed and ashamed to accept the facts. Bulgars were turkic, had turkic customs, titles and rituals. Bulgars had the same calendar as the other turkic ppl, all in turkic scripts and words). Bulgars even had and used similar jurtas or shatras as the other turkics. These are all such facts, which nobody shall be ashamed of (if he really likes the steppe bulgars)! I don't see anything wrong to reveal all about their origin and culture.. or shall I hyde it?! P.S. What's wrong if Jani have same oppinion in the issue as mine?! Does that mean we are saying wrong things... or make kinda conspiracy, against the steppe bulgars... or do we maybe try to hyde or deviate the true origin of bulgars? Excuse moi!..

Rezhko - you have never been smart. Never. Actually you are not even little above the average intellectual level (this is my soft approach to you since I don't want again to worsen your mental/intellectual condition). The same above applies to Janny.
And I would like very much to show my respect to Chalkedon. Now this guy is asking the right questions. With such persons one can talk. I ask - he answers. He asks - I answer. BUT - our conversation follows a logical pattern and the result is revealed.
The TRUE result!! It should not invlove feelings. Don't you two dummies Rezhie and Janny understand? It's all about logic and facts! IF the Bulgarians coming from the steppes are PROOVED to be Turkics - I will gladly defend my Turkic ancestry. But this is not the case.
I would like to ask Chalkedon for cooperation. If he agrees for the following dispute. And I ask him because he is not a directly involved side in these matters - thus he should more objective.

Chalkedon, despite all evidences that Bulgars played the most important part in the establishing of the todays Bulgarian nation by doing some insignificant things like establishing a state, defending it on their own, building towns, etc, there are some really bright persons like Rhezus who think that the birth of a child is given not by his parents but by some distant cousins.

Khan Atanko, talking who's smart is not my problem - the problem is obviously yours. Your stubborness, your angry attitude reveals enough about how poor mentality you have. Actually you have coplexes concerning intelectuality etc. Haha, you and your logical pattern. That must be a joke, right.. And what are the "logics and facts"? That Bulgars were germanic or celtic or gauls?! Who were they if they were using the turkic speech and the calendar, the various kind of turkic titels: "khan", "kavkhan", "tarkan", "bagatur"? What is the case, Atanko! Prove the oposite, prove that steppe-Bulgars were not turkic! Or are you too ashamed to accept their origin. Yea, let's see what Chalkedon's perceptions are and what is he thinking about the origin of steppe-bulgars. Quote Ruse: Bulgars did not established the today Bulgarian nation. It took hunderds of years of ethnic regrouping. They biuld the next ensuing bulgar state in Moesia. Anyhow, Bulgars did not give birth to all Thracian tribes, (by creating a Bulgar state or fighting against the Byzantin empire). I don't think you know what you are babbling about. The autochthonous ppl were already here. What Bulgars did in the begining were raids, pushing and driving away some of the locals.

And what did those autochtonous people contribute to the establishment of Bulgaria? The state, Rhezus, the state!!! Not some inhabited lands under Byzantine rule with God knows what population.

You are really below average man. I regret you. HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU IDIOTS NEED THE SAME THINGS REPEATED OVER AND OVER? HOW MANY?!?! AND HOW MANY TIMES YOU PASS BY WHAT I ASK JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN'T ANSWER IT??? LOOK AT OLD JANNY'S POSTS!!! LOOK HOW THE MORON EXPLAINS HIS VIEWS!?!?! LIKE AN AFGHAN PEASANT AFTER A HASHISH BREAKFAST. DON'T YOU IDIOTS UNDERSTAND HOW STUPID, IRRITATING AND DUMB YOU ARE?? Rezhie - I ask you again. For 100th time maybe (oh God help me please!!). WHO ARE THE ONES FIGHTING THE BYZANTINES, KHAZARS, AVARS, ARABS ALL THESE YEARS? HOW COME THESE "FEW" PEOPLE COMING FROM THE EAST MAINTAINED THEIR POWER FOR DECADES - WITHOUT EMPLOYING SLAVS AND THRACIANS INTO THEIR ARMY?!!? HOW REZHIE?? YOU ALL-KNOWING CLERK!! HOW COME THEY BUILD CITIES? HOW COME THEY FOUGHT SO MANY BATTLES (THEY WON THEM)? HOW COME THEY HAD AGGGRESSIVE AND EXPANSIONIST POLITICS AGAINST BYZANTIUM? THE FEW AND WEAK TRY TO PROTECT THEMSELVES NOT TO ATTACK AND CONQUER! EXPLAIN TO US YOU REZHIE - THE GOD OF LOGIC AND INTELLECT!!! WOULD YOU REZHIE? WOULD YOU PLEASE??? Rezhie - my old friend has a saying: "You can't speak to an animal - because it knows brute force. This is their language. You have to beat it and it'll understand. This is true for the gypsies as well.".

Haha.. all these years! Where in the steppes?! Where are these cities? I want to visit all of them! Seems they were quite warlike people. That's why they were forced to move thir "states" around the steppes. They were lucky, at that time they cross the Danube. The Byzantine empire had difficulties and their troops were absent in Thrace. The Roman/Byzantine empire was already in decline. Both, you and your old friend need some help. Do you really beat your animals, a lot? P.S. Btw, whay are writting with capital letters, do you mean you are screaming when writing this way?

No, in Sweden. Retard. Is the Balkans a place somewhere in the steppes?
Destroyed by your idols, the ottomans. Some still left, though. You have never been to Tsarevets or Pliska or Cherven?
Neither history, nor geography is your strong area, right?
I won't even bother to answer the rest. Your 'replies' exceed even the ignorance of that person Novi, which is quite remarkable.

O, my "idols", the Ottomans again.. Very very bad people! I've been to Tzarevetz and Pliska, but which are other cities? There must have been many more cities, outside Moesia.. in the steppes maybe?! Because they were moving around different places. Damn, did somebody destroy all those cities too!! Anyway, those cities I would like to see! Ahaa, if you say so.. I am very ignorant, I know nothing about the real origin of steppe Bulgars... I am very ignorant, I know nothing about the real origin of steppe Bulgars... I am very ignorant, I know nothing about the real origin of steppe Bulgars... Novi is also very, very ignorant person... BUT YOU, you both with Khan Atan are simply fenomenal!! Tell me Ruse, where do steppe Bulgars come from, please?

Rhezus, are you sure youre not paid agent of the Turks? I mean you are so passionate to: a) make the Turks these cute peaceful guys that did not move a stone in Bulgaria for 5 centuries; b) sell your soul to the devil so that you proove the Bulgars were your IDOLOZED persons the Turks. Sorry Rhezus but the idea that the Bulgars were Turkic is just TEORY, I know its hard for you, but its far from proven. Rhezus it seems to me you are in a big identity crisis. If you really are a BULGARIAN, why dont you try to be a little bit proud about it?

Millions of YTL are send to me. Turks keep sending them all the time. a) If the Ottomans wanted to kill the ppl, 5 centuries were quite enough to wipe out i.e. the whole Bulgarian nation. But that's not the goal of an empire. On the contrary, an empire needs as many taxe paying citizen as possible! b) So according to you, one "sells its soul to the devil" if revealing some facts about steppe-bulgars?! Very strange thought.. There are strong circumstantial evidences which are facts! So pls tell me, (if you can) which is the origin of steppe bulgars if they were not turkic? Prove that these facts a wrong! They all are at your disposal, so here you go! Yes, I am a Bulgarian and I can be proud of things which only me (myself) find as good. And pls, that is not an identity crisis, this is your way of keeping a debate. So as Bulgarian, no one still can dictate me what shall I be proud of and what shall I dislike. Sorry Ioan, but I don't buy your idea. I (still) see quite bad things which I simply can't be proud of at the moment.

From between their mothers legs, just like everyone on the planet. If it is that simple, then why is it so tough for you to admit your grand grand grand Turkic mother? ;D

It is. Attempts in Anatolia to give birth out of man's arse are not taken into consideration.
My grand grand grand mother was Bulgarian. Or you are like Rhezus and it is some of your grandancestors who you consider as your parents?

There are no grandancestor, but ancestors only. The ones you reject for identifying yourself as a steppe E.T. (whose origin is still "unknown" and very confidential).
