I have been to greece, i have seen and talk with greeks there, and saw how they live, and when they talk about being european and talking about what defines to be european is defenetly absurd. And I am sure it would seem even more absurd in Albania. no more or less compared to greece.

Wtf is wrong with you Patrinos, in every thread you attack everything what has to do with albanians, what you really think of your country? lol you aint s**t, in european scale your country along with other balkan countries are moust primitives in europe, why dont you go shave your mc´donald eye brows and stop be threaten buy your neighbours when it comes to history and such, your country aind s**t and your people aint s**t, concetrate for next tourism seson and think some new things for hosting tourists, here is a product to which highest import country is greece! its for nose and ear hair remove! lmao btw do people still use dial modems in greece? lmao... another nice little text by a complexed albo... if you don't like... greek economy, please come and take the alvanous from here... but i bet they won't follow you back to albania... The difference is that when it comes to history Greeks base their thoughts on evidents and documentation in contrast to albos who base their history mainly in the fact that we know little about albos...before 1250..as barba-Kanaris says...

Thodhoraqi.... i know you have tourkalvaniko mentality but don't show it in every post of yours.... And proof, papa-thodhore, isn't two-three words...thats only to conclude to some hypotheseis... Proof is to have a paragraph in illyrian...read it and understand the meaning... all the other are for proudshqiptar.com.... So, is that why an Italian needs to learn Latin to read it. And, even though I have numerous Spanish speaking and Italian speaking friends who, when they look at Latin give the most perplexed look ever... does that mean that Latin and Italian are unrelated? Or what if I show a modern German a Gothic text... do u think he can just read it? lol... Nice logic, now back to the baby pictures.

Actually, I have considered in the past studying late Osmanlilik period and modern Balkans, but the schools where I can study those in the US are very limited, expensive and hard to get into. Plus it would be an insult to change my major now that I am finishing up undergrad, my parents spent too much money to do that to them. Maybe I will change it once I get into grad school. Im a Latinist not a Hellenist, reading Greek, Latin, while also knowing German, French and/or Italian are necessities of Classical Studies. I find French to be a horrendous sounding language as well, while I love Latin, Italian and German. Yet I still learn French nonetheless.
Im an Ottoman Muslim culturalist who supports my cultural kins in the Balkans: Balkan Muslims. I feel that they have suffered exponentially and will always feel a level of admiration and love for them as people I am related to. Even though I am an Atheist. 100% of my Turkish friends are Atheist/Agnostics as well, many of them have an open hatred for Islam, yet they still defend Muslim Balkan people and feel attachment to them.
I cannot ignore my ancestry nor inheritance. It is a part of me. So while I am an Atheist, I respect Balkan Muslims and all their suffering.

Was anyone speaking of Karpathos? Or do you have this compulsory need to leave a useless mark in every Albanian thread? I made a scientific coment by saying you cannot be from a region with valleys since you're a short nation... and you attacked me .. porca mizeria! What society we live in... ;D

I don't understand Greeks. They are the wealthiest , if not the wealthiest, country in the Balkans and they have been in EU for almost 30 years, and yet, they still possess the typical Balkan mentality. Look at the likes of Patrinos or Kanaris. There is nothing European about your ideas, you have the typical Balkan attitude. You would think Greece would lead by example and show the rest of the Balkan countries the principles of the EU, but they don't. So much for progress.......... Ofcourse we have typical Balkan attitude (with more class ofcourse ) We live in Balkans. I like Balkans and Balkanians. What do you expect from us.. to become Scandinavians or Anglosaxons? ..BUT.. have you checked how dangerous the neighborhood is? Unfortunately.. in order to survive in a neighborhood like that.. you have to be inside the mud you too. The mentality today Balkans+Turkey have.. pull us back too. That is why Greece is using everypower we have to convince other EU members to accept all Balkans the faster the better. When that happens.. you gonna see clear how much the level will move forward. For the time being.. we have to spend our power to FYROMians.. to prevend Albanians becoming a protectorat.. to buy more guns for the Turks.. to deal with all that mentality of the neighborhood... and we dont have the time and power to impove ..ourselves. That is how it works. If you put a smart student inside a classroom with retards... that student will stay behind with his evolution.. and the "retards" will move a step forward due to their interaction with that smart student. Result.. The smart student loose. Just wait.. and you'll see it yourself... how things will change when all Balkans enter EU.. PS. Dont take as inuslt the word "retards". You have just experience freedom in your countries.. and you dont know how to handle it. You're through what we were passing 40-50 years ago. Statues, flags, American allies, national pride bla bla bla. We left these behind... but.. you just started with these stuff. You're a good pool for exploitation and manipulation. You need 40-50 years to get over this statue and to have selfconfidence and broad your minds. See Toskali or Zoti or others and the way they talk. To remind you.. they're educated . They're very usual personalities inside the Albanian nation. In Greece you cannot find people like them or if you find.. they represent 1 out of 1000 educated people.

I made a scientific coment by saying you cannot be from a region with valleys since you're a short nation... and you attacked me .. porca mizeria! What society we live in... ;D I didn't attack you. I stated facts. Kolonia said that some Greeks here need to improve their English skills and make themselves understood, as your jibberish is incoherent at times. As he said this and I read it, my thoughts went to you. And I consequently agreed with his assessment.,

Since you could make a sence of what I'm saying... and taking the fact I'm Greek leaving in Greece and that means.. no native English speaker...... it was an attack. ...Or at least a try to attack. Back to the point again. What it interests us is that a short nation comes from mountains and that is why they're short. Small legs help in mountains. Tall people leave in valleys or flat terain and that is why they're tall. They need to move fast in big distances. So.. Albanians cannot be from south Macedonia or any other flat region. They come from a mountainous areas..

OK granted. You're not any good at English because you live in Greece. That still doesnt excuse you from being stupid.
Woow ... you trully prove my point.
Firstly, explain "short nation" .. you said it is scientific we're a short nation. Is that based on your personal eye observation? Or do you have statistics?
Secondly, how did you deduce mountains = short people, when reputedly the Montenegrins are the tallest people in the Balkans and perhaps Europe even ... as you might have guessed, Montenegro is a very mountainous area with almost no single valley worthy of mentioning. Also a prime reason for them not having been subjugated by Turks, (the mountains that is .. I feel like I need to spell out everything when "debating" with someone of your calibre) ...

;D ;D ;D.. I must have something in the past that has heart your feelings eh? ;D ;D A bre Albano.. ;D ;D Just eye observation. Many Albanians in Greece.. not difficult to tell. Its the same with the Pontians. You dont need to see official statistics when they're all around you. You see .. and you judge. Do I need official statistics to say that Nordics are pale whites, and blonds? About Montenegrins.. there is some point on you comments for the first time since I started visiting the Illyria forums... 3-4 years ago. But I dont know... maybe because they're Slavs.. and Slavs are tall. I dont know. Are they natives there? For sure, what I told you about short and tall people regarding their environment is true. Its like Northereners are bigger than Meds. It is cold there and they safe more fat.. so they have become bigger. Environment plays a role. Dont you agree?

No, can't say you have. You dont have the mental capability. God, I can't justify myself having a conversation with you ... Toskali was right.
And you've never contemplated the idea that it might be related to nutrition, and the fact that those Albanians you see in Greece represent the poorest strata of society ... ? That, my not so gifted friend, is probably a more logical explanation than high altitude when concerning height ... because ironically, the tallest Albanians are found in the mountainous north, which is the most mountainous part of the country.
You trully are a moron. You successfully contradicted yourself in the same post. If environment plays a role as you believe, and mountains produce short people, then how come Montenegrins are so tall? The Slavic equation doesn't work, because you said environment is a key factor here .. and Montenegro is a mountainous country. Not to mention they hardly look Slavic at all and are significiantly taller than other populations.
Also, too cold climate doesn't produce tall people, if anything the opposite would be true. You need a short stocky built in order to conserve heat. On the other hand, in hot environments, you need a tall and slank built to regulate heat better. Eskimoes are best adapted to cold climate, as are Mongolians and Asiatic people in general. Northerners are just depigmented Mediterraneans with a body built which hasnt had enough time to adapt to cold climate.
