For those of you who are from Crna Gora/Montenegro or who have traveled there, what are/were some of your favourite places & regions you like most? Some of my favourites are Mojkovac. I've always liked this town. Nice & peaceful. In between Mojkovac & Bjelo Polje is my families celo called Zari. We have TONS of land there & I love hanging out there. Again it's nice, peaceful & the air is so clean you feel it in your lungs. I just hate driving through the side winding trail up giant hills to get there. Pain in the ass LOL. Podgorica is a nice city. That place has changed quite a lot & it's still growing. And of course the coastal regions are fuckin awesome. So much fun & hot babes everywhere. Bar is nice, Igalo & Herceg Novi is cool too but my fave along the coast is Sveti Stefan & Budva. I love that area. Cetinje rocks too. Plus I was born there & will always have special place in my heart. Places I want to check out that I haven't been to: Kotor & all along the bay (Risan, Perast, etc..), Niksic, Zabljak, & Ulcinj (I wanna go to that nude beach over there ).

Everywhere I've been in Crna Gora is amazing. You get the feeling if it was flattened out it would be the biggest country in Europe rather than one of the smallest. Ostrog was amazing, the entire coastline, every single river is crystal clear. The only place I didn't like was Podgorica which in comparison to any other comparable Serbian city (Banja Luka, Novi Sad...) really is a dump. The surrounds of Podgorica and Moraca is beautiful of course but the city it self has mostly shocking architecture & it does look poorer than other cities. It doesn’t have a true mall either.

^ You don't like Podgorica? Oh well... I like it & the city is growing. Imagine if Crna Gora didn't suffer economic sanctions in the 90's. That city would be greater for sure but it's getting there.
Oh yeah, I forgot to add Ostrog to my list. I'm not really a religious person but I like checking out some the beautiful Orthodox churches (not just CG & Serbia but anywhere for that matter). Can't believe I haven't been there yet. Next time I go I'll check it out.

What? Yeah imagine also if Serbia didn't suffer sanctions in the 90's! Imagine what Beograd would look like lol. Imagine Banja Luka was not in a country that experienced 5 years of war... it would be 3 times prettier than Podgorica rather than only twice as pretty right? What I'm saying is that does not explain the immence poverty of Crna Gora which I think comes down to the almost impossibility of building infrastructure through mountains. The Montenegrin work ethic has definitely held things back also.

Are you saying Crno Gorci are lazy or some shit like that? LOL That's more like a BALKAN work ethic & it's not just in CG my friend. Everyone is too busy hanging out in the kafanas LOL How do they do it?

Well Podgorica was one of the most bombed cities in WW2. But it is a nice city with a cool modern look to it.
I like Budva and Kotor, both places with great nightlife and architecture. Climbing the old montenegrin road behind Kotor is quite an experience as well! I really want to go check out Durmitor and the Tara on the next trip.

I want to go white water rafting in the Tara.
Does anyone have any info on base jumping over in CG? One of my good Serb buddies is a sky diver/base jumper & he's interested in doing this over there. He's done hundreds of jumps in the fjords up in Norway.

I enjoyed the most:
- Ostrog (my fav place there) - Herceg Novi (beautiful old church, very peaceful city) - Kotor (loved the architecture) - Canj/Sutomore (very fun beach areas and family orientated) - Podgorica (old church right next to the soccer stadium, I think its St George builit in the 10th century, liked running/walking around that hill above the stadium as well), liked the new church but forgot what 'block' its in - I think its across the Moraca river and also liked working out at this gym in that same area.
