Excuse me, Pyrros, how do you exactly see macedonians as slovenes?! Some lunatic theory you follow that is the result of drugs and alcohol combined? Your wife is not the ultimate sourse, if you allow me to explain. After all, it was one country, no problem for her to speak bulgarian (fyromian). Didn't you say she has written in her CV she speaks basic Bulgarian?

Your wife is not the ultimate sourse, if you allow me to explain. After all, it was one country, no problem for her to speak bulgarian (fyromian). Didn't you say she has written in her CV she speaks basic Bulgarian? Yes, she speaks basic bulgarian, with ZERO hours of training, just like any bulgarian can speak basic serbocroatian with ZERO hours of training. My bro in law can read SLOVAKIAN (not slovenian) technical texts with ZERO training on the language also. As for the slovenes<->fyromaks connection, back in 1914, there were reports that amongst yugoslavs the ones who has the best comprehension of fyromak language were the slovenes. nuff said. P.S. allow me not to answer on the alcohol, drugs comment you made. That was silly and childish. P.S. No problem with the fyromaks myself. They are typical yugoslavs, which i like.

I am Bulgarian, Vlatko Stefanovski is not on the top list of my favourite performers and I don't drink Skopsko. Actually, I don't drink beer at all Still, your comment that fyromians are closest to Slovenes is sillier and more childish than my remark.

Vlatko je Legendo! The ultimate balkanian majstor guitarist! Why dont you drink pivo? are you muslim? Now as far as my comment about slovenian lang/fyromak lang, it is recorded by yugoslavs not me, go ask Novi Pazar. P.S. Peace.

Excuse me dudes, how are maks bulgarians? On our way from Brcko to Athens we had Van Gogh CD playing till Fyrom, and vlatko stefanovski !!! (Kula od karti) playing from Fyrom to Greece. well my bosnian-serb wife translated every single word from it, and it was the first time i listened to her talking/translating fyromian... How are fyromaks bulgarians and not serbs/croats (or even better slovenes?) Linguistically all slavic languages are quite similar. Grammatically Bulgarian (including FYROM) is the only Slavic language that is part of the Balkan language union (together with Greek, Romanian and Albanian). Only in Bulgarian (including fyrom dialect) there are thracian and bulgar words. All linguist are on the opinion that there is not enough differences between bg and fyrom language to accept it as different ones. At best fyrom can be classified as dialect. When fyrom politicians come in Bulgaria, on the TV there is no translation. Fyrom sounds like old Bulgarian, unevolved, it contains alot of old Bulgarian words, but EVERY BULGARIAN KNOWS THEIR MEANING, but just doesnt use them (some older people still do though). Serbian influence on fyrom language is due to political dominance for over 100 years and making the fyrom "bulgarian, written on serbian typemachine".

How about Tetovo and Skoplje? I think they talk smth close to Serb Torlak dialect. As far as I know the fyrom language is based on the skopian talk (the talk they talk in that area) due to the fact its closest to Serbian and most far from Bulgarian. Bulgarian on the other hand is based on the eastern talk, that is most far from fyrom (due to Russian influence after the liberation). So even with that artifical division its obvious its the same language. After hunderd of years of living under Serbian influence, any Bulgarian can understand perfectly a fyrom person.

"People in Greece that you refer to as Macedonians are Greeks that live in Macedonia (Northern Greece). They are ethnic Greeks, such as a Greek from Trakia, who calls himself Greek Trakian. On the other hand, majority of people living in the Republic of Macedonia are ethnic Macedonians." -------------------------------------------------------------- So.... Greeks living in Macedonia.. speaking the same language with ancient Macedonians, using the same words for the cities with ancient Macedonians, praising Hellenism like ancient Macedonians..... are not Macedonians... ...and Skopjans... living outside the region of ancient Macedonia, coming in Balkans in 6th century ANO DOMINI!, being a Slavic tribe, speaking a tottal different language with ancient Macedonians, hating Hellenism in antithesis with ancient Macedonians, changing the Macedonian names of the cities and renamed them with Buglarian words... are the true Macedonians... ok ok .. lol lol Absolut normal! lol lol I'm sure world some day will give you the obvious rights.. lol lol

Exactly, just replace Macedonian with Greek.
Makedonija has a meaning in their slavic Macedonian language. Yes they are the true macedonians.
