To be more accurate, both newspapers should indicate "Ancient Macedonian". Nothing else.

Basil, Greeks have always been a minority in Macedonia, a much smaller minority than the Albanians. What are you talking about? Even todays parts of Macedonia had places with the majority greeks

Yes, you do promote it. The Greek position has always been that Macedonia and the ethnicity of Macedonians is a fiction of Tito and Stalin (Greek foreign minister Dora Bakoyannis said it). This is endorsing cultural genocide.

And we'll let you know when you can speak for my behalf, Basili's and the rest of the 2.8 Million Greek Macedonians. So you speak for your own Slavic / Bulgar type who are trapped inside Macedonia with a goverment who is delusional.
You still have a chance to prove your delusional claims...Go on...

No you dont have a life.. unless by "life" you mean to live a parallel as "Macedonian" when you're not. this is not a life.. this is misery. You're 50% Pontian and 50% Bulgarian. Nothing Macedonian on you. The misery is you dont enjoy your Pontian culture nor the Bulgarian culture who both are great. Instead you try to belong to Macedonian culture.. and deep in you mind you know you cant.. and that is where the misery comes..

British archaeologist Iain Shearer, a fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society, says neither side has any real grounds for claiming Alexander.
“For modern Greece to say that Alexander was Greek is as absurd as Macedonians who claim that Alexander was Macedonian,” he said. “The terms don’t mean anything … The only real commonality to the situation is accidents of geography and history.”

I agree, even though I really do not need a British archaeologist to tell me so. Anyone that reads and listens to what they read would understand that there is no irrefutable evidence that the ancient Macedonians were Greek or Slavic. For the ancient Macedonians to take on the Greek language and culture is commendable, but that is all that it is. Remember, most of the inhabitants of the Byzantine empire spoke Greek, even though they were not all Greek.
