The Ministry of Foreign Affairs building. It looks like a mosque Nah. I think it's just the angle and the fact that it's still under construction. Once complete, it will look like this. Nothing like a mosque.

Here is a building that I initially didn't hold much hope for when it looked like this. It's a monument for Tose Proeski in Krusevo.

New opening date for new terminalMONDAY, AUGUST 22, 2011Skopje’s new multi million Euro terminal will open its doors two days ahead of schedule, on Tuesday September 6. Originally, it was planned for the terminal, which will handle all of Skopje Airport’s customers, to open on Macedonian Independence Day on September 8. However, the airport’s management believes that the new terminal will get more publicity if it is opens ahead of the public holiday. The first airlines and passengers to use the new terminal should be those arriving and departing in the afternoon. The new terminal has 23 check-in desks, 6 air bridges and stretches over 40.000 square metres. When construction started last year it was planned for work to be completed by October 23. Meanwhile, Macedonia’s Minister for Transport and Communications, Mile Janakieski, held a bilateral meeting with his Turkish counterpart last Friday in Skopje. Both ministers signed an agreement which further liberalises the possibility of airlines commencing flights to each other’s countries. The agreement also aids TAV’s hunt to find a foreign airline to base an aircraft in Skopje. The Macedonian Civil Aviation Agency has now also joined TAV in its bid to find an airline willing to make Skopje its hub from the 2011/12 winter season, according to a source from the agency.

This was from January 2011. "Vitaminka" to build a new plant for chocolate, worth 2.5 million eurosSunday, January 9, 2011Prilep food industry "Vitaminka" this year to build new capacity for chocolates worth 2.5 million euros. Projects and drawings to be completed, we are searching the location for the new building. Money not a problem because we already have offers of credit from two banks, said Simon Naumovski, Chairman of the Board of "Vitaminka". The intention is the new plant to start operating in 2012. With this production of chocolates will be doubled from the current 200 to 300 pounds to 500 pounds per hour. This is the most important investment for "Vitaminka" this year, because existing facilities are already too narrow and are working in four shifts. The management is considering to expand the capacity to "Stobi Flips' products. "Vitaminka" is satisfied with the balance in 2010. About 10 to 15 percent increased production and realization in the previous year. The problem with the factory that should be handled is enormous and continual price increases of imported raw materials. Do not be afraid for the sale, it is excellent both domestic and foreign markets. The problem is increasing costs. It must be overcome by the savings in production. We will be saving by purchasing machines and the modernization of the entire process. We continually increasing commodity prices, says Naumoski. Spreading capacity, modernizing and increasing productivity and savings are the main priorities of Prilep "Vitaminka" for the next period. www.time.mk/read/5edd166371/f0a8396dff/index.html
