The video I posted had to do with European countries or people who descent from these countries...I didn't know Hungaria was an asiatic or middle eastern country, my apologies. I always thought Hungaria was part of Europe. Anyway the video was not racist or does not reflect my personal views, it was an interesting video that I posted in all the European countries thread. Again, I apologize, I was not aware that Hungarians do not consider themselves European.

it's depend on what hungarian u talking to, if u talk to other hungarians, they say they european, u talk to another hungarians, they say they asians, if talk to another hungarians, they say they Turanic, if talk to another one, they say either say they are Huns, semetic or middle eastern or gypsies or simply just magyars. It's oppinion is fairly mixed among every hungarians.
this video is very provocative, u need to be aware of that, btw, it's not u to blame but the stupid stormfront who is preaching extremism in every sovereignity of european countries.

Again, I apologize, I was not aware that Hungarians do not consider themselves European. 1) Your video doesnt have anything to do with historical Hungarian-Romanian relationships. I didnt watch the video in full but it did seem to racial provocative stance. 2) Hungary is part of Europe, I think Hungarians identify with Europe but also identify with early Hungarian tribes from the east and also identify with the Magyars whom was the language giver, the Magyars were probably from the East too but this is imo still mysterious and they certainly may have been in Hungary region much longer than 895 possibly since 6th/7th century.

maybe even before that, according to the article u've posted on other thread, however i really disagree that magyars are european however we did introduced some european bloods to our nation, slavic, german, etc, etc is one of the fine example but still it's not enough to consider Hungarians or magyars as european, as u know very well that Hungary has been occupied many times by many pure european powers like Byzantine, Romans, Germans, French, British, Russians, Romanians, Serbs, Habsburg, etc, etc. and what happened? magyars was against it and that's all because of one major factor, Hungarians wanted consider themselves magyars instead of assimilating or integrating into more wider european society and i thinks that 100% perfectly true. Now we have this european union idealism in Hungary, which is to integrate Hungary towards supreme european athmosphere and society, it's only provoked many magyars expecially young ones like me to have extreme hatred towards europe and to try and maintain our historical identity, that's what we called a rise in nationalism and the creation of the magyar garda.

^ British? Hungary was occupied by Britain? Yeah thats a good question I doubt if any squaremeter was ever occupied by British in Hungary. actually direct fightings between Huns and British could be very rare in history. only some air battles over Hungary during ww2 (and british planes also bombed Hungary during the end of the war). And during ww1 maybe some battles in Ottoman Empire (there were a few aus-hun expeditionary forces to help the Turks) + in the German colony of Tsingtao (there were 324 Aus-Hun sailors from the Kaiserin Elisabeth cruiser to help the Germans) against the Japanese and British forces, and of course in a few naval battles on the Adriatic. Thats all where we could fight with the British i think. ;D And French occupation was also very short, i know only two occasions, once for a short time in 1809 Western Hungary (battle of Gyõr) and in 1918-19 after AH capitulation, French occupation forces in the south, the city of Szeged. Napoleon spent one night in Gyõr, on 31 august, 1809 and he slept in this house: and here r some French from Szeged in 1919: colonial soldiers

Its hard for romanians to face reality...they delete or censor anything that doesn't fit into their narrow minded version of history. Here is some "facts" about the city of my birth...Kolozsvar.
As you see Kolozsvar has always had a Magyar majority until it was given to romania in 1920 and you began changing the ethnic make up of the city and the region.

e-coli...I read you're also from Kolozsvar....when was your family brought to Kolozsvar? after trianon or after WW2.
I'll repost this in the Hungarian forum because I'm sure this will also be deleted
