Do you think that anyone even reads the trash you post? The Arvanites are our people, today if you ask their descendants they will tell you they are Hellenes. They hate the Turk Albanians just as much as the other Greeks. During the Greek War of Independence all the Greeks including the Arvanites, Vlachs and Sarakatsani fought for a Greek state.
The Albanians who converted in large number to Islam, to further their place in the Ottoman Empire (They had equal status as the Turks) fought on the side of the Ottoman Empire in countless battles, the Greeks swiftly defeated them.
I would also like to state the Arvanites are racially of the same stock as other Greeks, they also have the same Geneitic origins.

You seem not to understand that the Arvanites who fought for Greece's Independence considered themselves as Greeks. The Arvanites were equal to other Greeks, they spoke Greek and practiced the Greek Orthodox faith. There was never any 'brain washing', that's something that the Communist Enver Hoxha would have done to the Albanians. The Greeks maintained their Christian faith even though they where part of the Ottoman Empire for four hundred years. Albanians converted to Islam in large numbers in the 17th century to further their status in the Ottoman Empire. Albania at one stage was considered 'New Turkey'. Albania only received her Independence in 1912 only when the Ottoman Empire collapsed. One thing i find retarded is that the Albanians consider George Kastriotis a national hero. George Kastriotis had Greek/ Slavic origins. He was a Christian who fought the Muslim Ottomans, today 80 per cent of Albanians are of Muslim faith. Even the Albanian flag is of Greek/ Christian origins. The Albanian flag has a double headed eagle which is used by the Orthodox Church. Answer this, why would a predominately Muslim nation such as Albania have a Christian hero and Christian flag? Albanian history should begin with the Ottoman empire, an empire that they shed blood for. |

if we tourkoAlvanos and christoAlvanos were fighting where were you other romeos hiding all this time  bcs all I see after searching all these pics and the leaders of most of these battles they are simply Arvanitis ...
