Of course it does. Their customs of that time were to marry within your own kin/tribe, worst comes to worst, within your direct family.

This was one of their customs. This does not define Ancient Greece as a whole. I am sure many didn;t follow it.
With your argument, one can conclude that Greeks are indeed, inbreeds.

As far as I know that Silesian aren't German, they are Polish but there might be German influence especially culture. We act, speak and looks like a Polish, not German.

Of course it defines them, just as slavery and gladiator battles is a defining part of roman legacy. That's what I'm concluding all ethnicities traditionally are.
