Greek are indeed invaders, and just as you said, the return of the heralledea is an invasion. The Dorian Invasion is the coming of these new "hellenes" to the pelasgian lands. For your information, most arvanites did not know greek, there are numerous occasions during 1821 that Arvanite generals and officers not being able to communicate with greeks due to language difference. Arvanites (most of them) spoke only arvanitika and the few who were bilingual preferred to speak arvanitika to one another.
