this is very interesting. this is a topic seldom discussed. i'd also like to see a similar focus on the germanic tribes (goths) that entered the balkans in the 4th-5th century and the legacy they left.

If you check them you will see the point. Celtic Bulgaria was the thread, I presume?! And what's the point of the first link?

I have checked them. With respect, 1 is a 30 year old text on Celtic animal imagery, 1 is a discussion of the chronology of the Celtic invasion, and the third is the old 'Institute of Thracology' version of history. The new site: balkancelts.wordpress.com presents the latest facts on the subject.

"Latest-facts" don't always undermine past discoveries, in fact together they can create a bigger picture.

Of course. But in some cases interpretations of past discoveries do not necessarily fit in with new evidence.

Then whose to say, which is more factual. We may be in for new evidence in the near future.

Anyway, to stay on topic. I always found the Celts facinating in their own way. Even today, they truly stand out, compared to the other Europeans.

All ancient cultures are facinating in their own way. How does the Celtic culture 'stand out', in your opinion?

Just attitude and character-wise. I have friends and met many people from this background, this only my personal opinion of course.

They may be older than your link, but doesn't mean they are false. Well, I will have a good look to the link you post again. I'll get back to you with some comments then.
