"The terms 'Romania/Romanians' only started to be associated with the people living North of the Danube in the 1800's."
No, Ivo, the name Romanian is recorded by Italian scholars in the 16th century and the name Land of Romania is another name for Wallachia, which was founded in 1290/1330. Yet it is known that the name Vlach is an exonym. The people have always referred to themselves as Romanian, even those Vlachs south of Danube (one exception being one group of Vlachs that were assimilated and started to call themselves Vlachs--Lolz).

"Man, seeing the tatars desperately trying to create a bulgarian presence in Epiros is sad. Seriously balkans will not have a future until all croat-muslim-shitar-mongol fabricators (and all their families) are dead.
Next time serbs are *around*, they should show no mercy to those snakes.
While the croat-muslims idiots rely on noel malcolm (a paid butcher) to create their history, the stupid mongols take it on the next level, and unleash all their lust for power ..... using photoshop lol."
Pyrro, you've seen it, and you know yourself that except for modern north-east BuLgarska, the rest of their country is questionable whether it is theirs originally.

slav-serb-russian peasants its unbelievable how you think you are intelligent, how you ve been in bulgaria many times and how you havent got anything about the country. either that or you just play a role in front of idiots like Novi and just show your true feelingwhen in a rage: for example when you call chentovist Bulgarian. Either way it is pathetic.

Either way it is pathetic. hmmm lets see : - sopska salata - serbska skara - genuine "bulgarian" music by Goran Bregovic - Ekavica in the outskirts of Sofia, Jakavica as the official - wild dances under the music of Ceca (Lepi Grome moj) - a subset of Serbian food All in all, it is a fine country. I loved it. It is just *not* original. Anything from the vast similarities between Bulgaria and Serbia/Bosnia was created in ex-yu for the first time. PS forgive me about this usage of the word Bulgarian. You see the terms bulgarian, greek, have MULTIPLE meanings and can set traps... (another nice result of bastardization)

I would not take your "answer" seriously. Because you were either trying to be funny or you really have no clue about the places you visit. The shopska salad has nothing to do with Serbia. Bulgarians never claimed srubska skara as national dish otherwise it wouldnt have been named srubska. Goran was never ever claimed as Bulgarian. E/ja sound in Bulgarian has nothing to do with Serbian - it is eastsouth slavic. Learn the basic stuff. Its an undisputable division. The fact that we love serbian food or singers (I dont personally because I despise chalga - Bulgarian and Serbian alike) doesnt make us Serbs. We have alot of Greek restaurants and arabian ones too - but we are neither Greeks nor Arabs. Your proofs that we are Serbs are rediculous: I hope you get that. I think you get that but you play the velikoserbian card. Well we are not buying it.

Typical Bulgarian salad, known in Romania as Sslata Bulgareasca. I wonder why they haven't named it Salata Serbeasca. No such spelling in Bulgarian. What you have written is in Russian. Don't worry, though. You are malaka and the total ignorance in Bulgarian is not something that should bother you. Who has made a few Bulgarian songs, alongside many gypsy ones that belong to no one. Furthermore, he has been accused of many Balkan musicians for having stolen their music. Your point, kerata? Coming from the man who speaks Serbian using his hands And now you appear here and explain me what the differences in Bulgarian speech are. Pis.s off. Is she your idol? A former wife of a criminal who is now under investigation for tax fraud? Lol... p.s write grome not with a capital letter. This is not English, malaka. Pfffffffffffffffffffff
