"the argument is that by bombing at a time when most of the atrocities were attributed to the KLA guerrillas, with the anticipation that the bombing would lead to far worse atrocities, NATO was preventing atrocities. The fact that this is the strongest argument that can be contrived by serious analysts, and I stress serious because there's plenty of nonsense, that tells us a good deal about the decision to bomb, particularly when we recall that there apparently were diplomatic options. " --
Noam Chomsky ( is this guy a redneck to you, Rex?) -------------------
"The KLA [formerly headed by Hashim Thaci] is tied in with every known Middle and Far Eastern drug cartel. Interpol, Europol, and nearly every European intelligence and counter-narcotics agency has files open on drug syndicates that lead right to the KLA,..."
-Michael Levine former official of the US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) ----------------------------
Jane's Intelligence Review estimated in March that drug sales could have netted the KLA profits in the "high tens of millions of dollars." It said the KLA had rearmed itself for a spring offensive with the aid of drug money, along with donations from Albanians in Western Europe and the United States.
The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration said in a recent report that drug smuggling organizations composed of Kosovo's ethnic Albanians were considered "second only to Turkish gangs as the predominant heroin smugglers along the Balkan Route."

Presentation on Criminal Networks in Kosovo- March 25, 2011 14:51 EXTRACTS FROM A NATO intelligence report on organized crime in Kosovo- In 1998. "Study of UCK structure uncovers structure of organized crime" - NATO-reportLike I said. Everything has already been un-convered. Just not publicized. Read the full report here BY NATO; www.globalpost.com/dispatch/news/politics/world-leaders/110325/presentation-criminal-networks-kosovo?page=1Florin Krasniqi, a Brooklyn-based businessman who raised large amounts of money for the KLA and shipped high-powered rifles from the United States to the KLA, said he has personally complained to senior State Department officials about corruption and crime at the top levels of government in Kosovo but he said he is routinely dismissed.“I don’t think there’s any escaping the fact that these allegations have been around for a long time and in order to put them to rest there has to be a serious investigation,” said Serwer. Thaci, whom Serwer knows, “would like it to just go away. But I don’t see how it can go away.”The case report (NATO's Presentation on Criminal Networks in Kosovo) describes how, shortly after the war, German NATO soldiers found and released 14 people who were being illegally detained by the KLA in the city of Prizren in southern Kosovo. They also found the body of an elderly Kosovo Albanian man who was still handcuffed. He “showed signs of having been beaten,” the reports reads.--- In an interview, one of the estimated 20 survivors of the prison said that he saw Thaci present at the prison. The man, who says Geci tortured him and murdered his brother, has agreed to testify in Geci’s trial but requested anonymity before agreeing to an interview.“I saw Hashim Thaci with my own eyes,” said the man, acknowledging that it was possible that Thaci did not know the prisoners were being tortured at the KLA base. But, the man said, the prisoners were held in a room with a large window and “he could see us.”“There was interference by the U.S. mission [to Kosovo] preventing effective investigation and prosecution of senior Kosovo officials,” said a U.N. official, who is in a position to know about the details of the United Nations' law enforcement efforts during the time that it administered Kosovo, from 2000 to 2008.Thaci remains by far the most powerful politician in Kosovo. But if the United States were to withdraw support for him, or for his country, Kosovo would be plunged into political chaos that some people believe would lead to the break-up of the country. Such chaos also comes with a danger of resumed ethnic hostilities. - "At one point the United States is going to say you don’t deserve a country,” said Engjellushe Morina, executive director of the Kosovo Stability Initiative think-tank in Pristina. “Some of Kosovo will go to Albania and some will go to Serbia. It would be a disaster for that to happen. We so badly wanted a state and we didn’t know how to run a state.”[/i]

Leaked NATO documents link Kosovo's Prime Minister to organized crime - January 25, 2011 From Paul Lewis, the Guardian: Kosovo's prime minister, Hashim Thaçi, has been identified as one of the "biggest fish" in organised crime in his country, according to western military intelligence reports leaked to the Guardian. The Nato documents, which are marked "Secret", indicate that the US and other western powers backing Kosovo's government have had extensive knowledge of its criminal connections for several years. They also identify another senior ruling politician in Kosovo as having links to the Albanian mafia, stating that he exerts considerable control over Thaçi, a former guerrilla leader. Marked "USA KFOR", they provide detailed information about organised criminal networks in Kosovo based on reports by western intelligence agencies and informants. The geographical spread of Kosovo's criminal gangs is set out, alongside details of alleged familial and business links. ... Thaçi, who was re-elected prime minister last month, has been strongly backed by Nato powers. His government has dismissed the Marty report as part of a Serbian and Russian conspiracy to destabilise the fledgling state. However, the latest leaked documents were produced by KFOR, the Nato-led peacekeeping force responsible for security in Kosovo. It was KFOR military forces that intervened in the Kosovo war in 1999, helping to put an end to a campaign of ethnic cleansing by Slobodan Milosevic's Serbian forces. Nato said in a statement tonight that it had instigated an "internal investigation" into the leaked documents, which are intelligence assessments produced around 2004, shortly before tensions with ethnic Serbs fuelled riots in Kosovo. ... Responding to the allegations in the NATO intelligence reports tonight, a Kosovo government spokesman said: "These are allegations that have circulated for over a decade, most recently recycled in the Dick Marty report. They are based on hearsay and intentional false Serbian intelligence." "Nevertheless, the prime minister has called for an investigation by EULEX and has repeatedly pledged his full cooperation to law enforcement authorities on these scandalous and slanderous allegations." From the Atlantic council itself.www.acus.org/natosource/leaked-nato-documents-link-kosovos-prime-minister-organized-crime& www.guardian.co.uk/world/2011/jan/24/hashim-thaci-kosovo-organised-crime

How is the globalpost a "conspiracy" site? You're not educated on the matter, you have yet to provide a solid argument. AGAIN, I am presenting NON-SERB sources. What does a "delusional-Serb" have to do with it? oh nvm don't answer, you'r probably another redneck. ;D

Third page to be more exact You cannot be serious in thinking that "The Guardian" would plagiarize such a report lol. Weak assessment which can only be expected from a deluded-Albanian, oh wait..... Anyway, I have posted this book here before. It's a great read for someone interested in learning more.

Since I am greek, I wasn't offended so don't worry Guardian can of course leak in fake things, all the newspapers do that. Which sounds more likely; A secret intelligence report getting published on the guardian or guardian leaking a fake report? Seriously stick to The Sun or The Daily "Hate" and don't get confused. PS: I am getting sleepy and if you are going to take so long to answer, I better not hang around... So, if you can, please faster replies UZ, you are boring me...

You're only defense is that " the guardian faked it". Very weak, a lie like that could destroy their reputation. Think about... What major news agency would be stupid enough to plagiaraze a report prepared by NATO? Esp ecially an England based news agency.Remember what happened to Murdock? and what he was accused for is nothign compared to what you're accusing "The Guardian" of doing. Also keep in mind, no one EVER even tried to come out and accuse The Guardian with what you're accusing them with. Another weak assessement on your end. NATO never denied the report EVER, in fact, they bring it up all the time. The COE was even referring to it when Dick Marty brougth up the organ-traficking allegations.

Confidential reports get leaked all the time, what's the matter with you?
(how long have you lived in that closed-box of yours?)
What you're claiming is far more ridiculous that what actually happened.
Why didn't NATO come out and deny anything?
Why has the COE referred to it constantly in regards to Dick Marty's report?
Why has it been brought up countless times during UNSEC sessions?
What do you really know about the subject?

All in order: 1)Reports don't always get leaked, at least not reports such as this. The only matter with me is that I am simply awesome and this effects people with inferiority complex in a negative way hence people are jealous of me. (I have lived in this awesome box for 26 years) 2)No it is not more ridiculous, what I am stating is it truth. 3)They didn't even bother to deny since that report is obviously fake. 4)No they didn't refer to it. 5)It hasn't been brought up countless times during UNSEC sessions. See Uz, all your claims are baseless plus why would I lie? I am neither albanian nor serbian. I have nothing to gain from kosovo discussions. I am simply showing the forum the opinions of an objective outsider.

I am simply showing the forum the opinions of an objective outsider. 1)Reports do not always get leaked, correct, but this one was. 2)You’re not stating the truth, you’re stating an opinion, an opinion with zero-grounds 3)They didn’t bother to do deny it b/c it was fake? (again stupid-logic) IF it was fake, NATO would have denied it, they have an obligation to, under International LAW (something you know nothing about). It's called FRAUD. Look it up. 4)I will not bother to answer this, cause you obviously don’t know anything regarding the UN-mandates/law and procedures. I don't even think you know what NATO's protocal is in Kosovo. You say my claims are baseless, yet you have failed-miserably in proving so. You act like a deluded-Albanian, thus I will call you one. You are not objective because all your opinions aren’t even connected to what I post here. You pick on one source and call it "plagiarazed", with zero substance or proof backing your moronic allegations. You see Derk, you really know nothing on the matter, you come here time to time and make an ass of yourself. Think about what I’m telling you mate, I may be bruising your ego but in the long run you’ll remember me and want to thank me. PS; I do not have to counter your arguments. The documentation/sources/quotes/videos/clips counter everything you say alone. All you need to do is read.
