UZ, how we cannot be brothers when there are 5 million Albanians living in Turkey and after almost 500 years there are still Albanians that dance in the Albanian way in the streets of Istanbul and Ankara!

UZ, how we cannot be brothers when there are 5 million Albanians living in Turkey and after almost 500 years there are still Albanians that dance in the Albanian way in the streets of Istanbul and Ankara! You should get your shit in order with your compatriots. the sad truth is that, even though turkey has reached out and shown favouritism, the public opinion in albania is very much anti-turk politically, people talk about the past and hold turks accountable for many things and hardship....

i have no problem with turks personally, everyone i have met has been nothing but a tolerant, easy going and respectful person,
i'm not a feeble minded creature like uz to hate present day turks based on what happened 500 years ago, let bygones be bygones and try to channel your energy into building bridges and finding common ground, besides, preset day turkey owes as much to every individual nation in the balcans as we do to them. i just can't fathom how an educated, travelled and astute person in 2012 hates someone based on shit that happened hundreds of years ago, in a completely different period context and utterly dissmiliar political landscape, only dumb fucks keep the intesity of inexplicable hate ablaze and live in the past with no justification...and they have a name: serbs.

that is all you need to concoct a well rounded view of albanian and turkish relations over the last 500 years, a random anonymous picture taken from the internet which expresses the view and opinions of a single person...your intelligence is unquestionable

the serbois taken froid's narcissism of small differences to next level but cant help it its a love hate relationship en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Narcissism_of_small_differences"The term describes 'the phenomenon that it is precisely communities with adjoining territories, and related to each other in other ways as well, who are engaged in constant feuds and ridiculing each other' - 'such sensitiveness...to just these details of differentiation'"

I think the religious people in Turkey will want to be closer to Albania for obvious reasons, but you must realize that Turkey has a lot of Albanian descended people.
Since the 90's,many non-Turks in Turkey have been rediscovering their heritage.
