I'm starting to think that the idea of Bulgaria existing in the physical world, is an illusion engineered by the West to keep us apart. Think of the movie Matrix--it's something similar. We are made to believe that there is this evil country out there, with a bunch of scumbags, that wants our destruction; but the real destruction is the distraction that 'they' impose on us.
I'm not sure if Bulgarians really exist. They might exist, and if they do, we should view them as victims To think that you belong to an identity that is attached to a country that doesn't really exist, is horrible.
So, I think that the true neighbors to our south is Turkey and ... oh, crap, no, not Greece! Oh, man, not those bankrupt bitches who turned neo-nazis overnight! And the problem is that they're very real. Ah well, you can't have everything.

Strangely this comes from a "nation" no one saw or mentioned till 11th century yet it links itself to the Romans... Unlike you Bulgarian presence here has been documented since 7th century onwards till now.
